The game against LA felt like a battle that got us with 1 hard earned point. It felt like we were constantly fighting an uphill battle and LA looked like the slightly better team on the ice. Not to mention could of easily been 5-3 if not for Larkin. Essentially it felt like a "decent" ot loss.
This game felt like the exact opposite. It felt like a win that was thrown out the window. They played good for the first two periods but just collapsed in the third and blew a two goal lead. They got a point but damn.
If anything this game was a mirror of the red wings – penguins game way back in October of 2014, when the wings made a comeback and won 4-3 in ot after losing 3-1 late in the third.
On a side note, hey awood40 what are your thoughts on Zadina and Hronek?
This team could be undefeated if they could put a full game together. A few years ago I'd have said "whatever" but for a team trying to take the next step this isn't the way.
Frustrating game. Wings seemed dominant until slanted officiating eventually tipped the game in Chicago's favor. Maybe that's homer bias talking. Which is worse because it means they just gave it away.
