Thank you for getting us to the playoffs tree!
At least we’re made it to the playoffs
aaaaaaaaaaaaaand now they are in the playoffs. Thanks Tree. Do me a favor and make a vid saying that the Lightning will never win another cup.
Pekka rinne is so good right now
Who’s here after they lost to Carolina in 6 games?
And now Carolina crushed Nashville's hopes and dreams for another year.
Hi, looking at this 3 months later. Basically all that changed is the Predators got worse but Saros stole some games
Team is still decent
3 months later: back into a playoff spot because Dallas was injured to shit and get blown out of the water by Carolina.
That Saros comment has aged very poorly
Tcap
This aged well
And we traded away Viktor Arvidsson
Preds fan: this is too true. At least we just traded Arvy to the Kings (even if it sucks)
U jinxed my team in 2017 now u helped us thx bro
Well they got to the playoffs didn't they
Right after this video was posted the predators went 23-13-1 and made the playoffs
And Pekka Rinne has Retired
And Ryan Ellis is gone
No this video hasn’t aged. Even for the run they made to get back into the playoffs last year, Ellis, Arvidsson, and Rinne are gone. They’ll likely be blowing it up in February.
Dude played P.K Subbam on the penalty kill the fuck was he thinking?
And now Pekka Rinne retired and the Predators officially died
Who’s here after the Predators lost to an expansion team?
It seems as if this pep talk has worked… thank you
Honestly, as a nashville fan, thank you for making this video. The team needs a solid rebuilding from square one.
In my opinion, you keep Josi, Saros, Forsberg+Granlund, Jeanot, and maybe another winger. The rest you can shed off for a GREAT trade deadline yardsale, and I know there are teams who would take them for sure. Saros is only 26, Connor Ingram is great too, as proven so far this year for as much as he's played.
But, it needs to happen. I want it to happen. Pekka Rinne deserved a stanley cup or two, and he never got one. I want them to prioritize making a truly solid team, rather than letting them slide down further. I want Nashville to bring Lord Stanley to Nashville for the first time.
So, besides the team, their marketing in Nashville is absolutely outstanding. They sell out almost every game, they market them more than the Tennessee Titans (If you know anything about Tennessee, that is nearly scandalous to say lol) and Nashville loves them! The bridgestone is a HUGE, LOUD arena (One of the loudest in the league) and the fans are into it every game. That kind of fanbase wants to see them win. It would be sad to see players go, but I think this fanbase knows what needs to happen, they just don't want to swallow that pill.
The Nashville Predators: The Cockroach of the NHL
The team refuses to die, and that’s what I love about my team.
Sports videos like this dont come often. I'd watch it again and again
This has aged poorly?
The playoff window for Winnipeg and Nashville seems to have closed hard on them, especially with the resurgence of Minnesota and Colorado over the past three years. Nashville is barely holding onto a wild card spot while Winnipeg is likely missing the playoffs this year. What about the Avs and Wild? They are currently in the top 3 of the division, the Avalanche most likely winning the Presidents Trophy. I know last year saw a division re-alignment because of the border closure but if it was the original setup It's unlikely both the Preds and Jets would have gotten a sniff of the postseason, or if they did they would have been on the next plane back to mediocrity.
6 goals allowed in Game 1 against the Avalanche… and they’re playing without Saros.
UPDATE: Make it 7 goals
Now they’re down 3-0 in the first round to the Colorado Avalanche. Yeah they need to blow it up and rebuild
Well they predictably got swept by the juggernaut which is Colorado Avalanche.
Who else is here after they got swept by the Avalanche in the first round?
This video aged like wine despite making the playoffs each time since this video was released
A year later and they get swept by the Avs after rolling the dice on forsburgs last year. They not only failed to make a deep playoff run, but they will also get nothing when he walks away after this season as an unrestricted free agent. Gambling on a long shot meant they didn't trade him, so essentially they lost twice with their poor performance.
They couldn’t find an answer for Kuemper this year and then lost to a BACKUP goaltender.
Coming back to the channel after a long time away. Didn’t that name used to be some German thing?
THE JETS!!!
And now Juuse Saros is a Vezina finalist and signed for four more years….praying my Devils trade the second overall for Askarov….
Saros thing didint age well. Lmao
Tree really called Juuse Saros a dud and a year later he was nominated for the Viezna, the jynx lives on!
1-3-1 trap alert
Yeah, we Preds fans deserved this during this span
