In my opinion Domingue played very good all game up until the last goal that cost them the game. Horrible goal to give up but that’s hockey. Ima Penguins fan and from my perspective that was a great third period to watch. I was on the edge of my living room jumping around, haha. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, Sid back for game 7. It’s amazing how underrated Cosby is, haha. Seriously.
Pens win this series and get healthy they could win a cup. The ranger have barely gotten to game 7 on the pens 3rd goalie and half the team out. They aren’t doing shit regardless of Sunday and what happens

Mika has been my favorite player pretty much since the rangers got him, I always thought he was a Elite sleeper player, but he hasn’t showed up in playoffs and that worry’s me, he tends to over think stuff way too much, like last night he went to look at the iPad to see what he did wrong on the breakaway and krieder took it out his hand and smashed it on the floor, (which I loved) he needs to go out there and just play his game and play like he was on the pond, he really has the potential to be elite but he’s not because of his playoff play, last night was a step on the right direction but he has a lot of proving to do to be considered elite
Rangers die hard fan, I just find it interesting to call the Rangers "the empire", the team that has one cup since 1940 LOL. But , I get your point, the Penguins have gotten further than the current lineups would suggest and I think its due to the poise of playoff experience and lack of by the Rangers, and I think Shesterkin outside of game 1 has been rattled, whatever you may think of the 3rd string penguin goaltender Mika failed on his breakaway and even when Shesterkin made the great pass, he stopped Mika again only to have Kreider, who is just as much the heart of this team as Fox scored behind him. As for Trouba, yes he had a tough game, probably because half the time he was looking over his shoulder every time he headed to the boards and the Penguins were obviously gunning for him and pretty much missed, and thats great, because if they are occupied trying to take cheap shots thats how you explain the poor penalty by Rodriguez. Trouba is the type of player you hate as the opponent but for the most part like on your team. The crybaby Penguins pointed out his other hard hits which were completely clean and I saw ZERO intent on Crosby, he was there and he hit him, he didnt throw an elbow or catch him looking the other way. Ridiculous. As far as people though not showing up where is Panarin? But back to Shesterkin it just hit me that when Malkin scored it would have been nice if he could have for once did what the Pgh goalie did on breakaways. But I think we are probably a little spoiled because we saw Shesterkin carry the Rangers good parts of the season and the criticism of the Rangers of hot goalie and special teams remains. Finally I just want to thank Winnipeg for Copp, he has been a valuable addition to the lineup.

Rangers fan. If you’re a realist you know we weren’t even supposed to make the playoffs and we’ve come back from 3-1. Win or lose this was a good season. Youngest team in hockey. We are gaining experience for our playoff inexperience. The kid line is gonna be a playoff juggernaut every year if this is how they play this young. Also, It’s better to have learned about our major flaws in the playoffs this year than next. It’s not a cup season, but it is a huge step in the right direction. Don’t forget, our team posted that rebuild was beginning 2 years ago. We should all be very happy regardless of outcome

I’m a Rangers fan and agree Mika is not elite. He plays elite at times but disappears to often to be considered elite. Question tho. Do you think the Penguins has the toughest defense to play against in this years playoffs so far ?

Truth be told, the Penguins exposed the Rangers in this series. Pens didn't have their #1 goaltender who got them to the post season, and then to lose their backup and Rakell in the first game. The Rangers still lost. Shesterkin may just have the playoff shakes right now, but he needs to shed that. Games 3 and 4 showed just how vulnerable the Rangers are. Then, to have Crosby leave the game in 5 and not play 6, was a saving grace. New York should have had a MUCH easier time with this series, even with all of Pittsburg's scoring prowess. They were against a 3rd string netminder and THAT is unforgivable.
As a Rangers fan, I can freely admit this. If they win tonight, they're going to get destroyed by the Canes in the next round, as they have been pretty much all season long. The only things that can keep them going forward into the next round and beyond is for Igor to play with godlike skill like he had a lot of this season, and for the Rangers to cycle (offensively and defensively) and shoot a lot more.
The Lingren play was definitely incidental contact however I felt there was some targeting. Honestly as a rangers fan I can understand the targeting on Trouba because despite what you think about his hit on Crosby any hockey fan knows that it’s your big guy’s duty to have that mans number the next game especially on home ice. There was also some rough contact on Lindgren but it mostly seemed incidental. Lindgren is still hurt, you can see it on his face so I think he’s just putting himself in spots to get hit while he tries to get his game back. Looking forward to see if the rangers can get some big hits in tonight.
I were to a Kings vs Blackhawks game 5 years ago and I am a Penguins fan I wore my Quebec Nordiques Joe Sakic sweater and as I walked out the United center I saw 3 Canadians, they said nice sweater,eh? I said I lived 3.5 years in Winnipeg and one of them put his hand on my shoulder and said I'm sorry .
