Who would have thought at the start of the year that this team would be the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference? I predicted that they would be better than they were last year but not THIS much better.
We cannot pull a Penguins and look past Montreal. Carey Price is playing lights out and they are a very hungry squad with lots to prove and nothing to lose. Hopefully AV keeps the team with the same mindset. One series at a time and one game at a time.

Guys, call me dumb, but I think we’re underestimating the Habs. Yeah the Pens suck, but they got a great goaltender, and they seem hot. Maybe it’s the nervous wreck that I am as a sports fan.
Hexy definitely had his faults, but he deserves a lot of credit for drafting the talented young core of this team: Hart, Provorov, Sanheim, Konecny, Farabee, Aube-Kubel, Lindblom (and signing Phil Myers). And you've still got Patrick (if he ever gets healthy), as well as Frost, Ratcliffe and Felix Sandstrom in the pipeline.
Heckstall did his job and built the future. Now it’s time for fletcher to bring home the bacon

I will put it this way. I have been a huge flyers fan since I was a kid. I have also been a huge Patriots fan since I was a kid. 1994 for both. Carter Hart reminds me of Tom Brady and I am dead serious. His work ethic and attitude are eerily similar. His commitment level is 200 percent…. What a steal.

What a crushing win on the Lightning and that felt great winning 4-1 Nicolas Aube-Kubel scoring 2 goals in the 1st period and Joel Farabree scoring a one time beauty and an empty netter by Tyler Pitlick and Carter Hart looked amazing in this game, so many great saves by him, and now we have the 1st seed in the Eastern Conference and undefeated in the Round Robin, this Flyers team is something special.
Definitely hyped after that game but it's still early. I'm looking forward to some round of 16 hockey!
