Would love to get a rematch against Tampa, but with Bob I think he’s been amazing throughout the entire series, I don’t think he’s changed as much as the defensive play has in front of him
Florida is now in a good position to grow up in to the successful level. There are only 4 things which are working in Florida team right now. 1. Bob, 2. Verhaeghe, 3. Giroux, 4. 4th line. PP is mostly awful thing to see…but when it starts working…it will make a big difference. Huby, Barky, Reiny, Benny, Duke..all of them has to raise their level. Weegar is still like ticking bomb when he plays the puck too long in his stick. Also in this last game there was actually Weegar Hitchcock little bit too much.

Forsling didn't look as solid as Weegar this whole series. Forsling was standing around not marking his guy on a goal, AND he got the penalty for tripping with 1 minute left in the 3rd period!! Forsling has to play better

Benching Duclair, that was one of the best coaching decisions that Brunette had made, besides moving Weegar finally. Chariot needs just as much ice time as Ekblad.

Jumbo should play game 1 of a series then sit him. Like I said b4 Marchment needs to work on his power skating skills, that will help him take hits better. It strengthens your base on the ice when skating fast.

The boys held a player only meeting after game 3. Bruno said he didn't know what they talked about, but whatever it was, it worked. They haven't lost since.
yes i was right…he started as the goalie for us in game one……………okay i just checked and nope he didnt play. for some reason i was sure he was in and i had the thought that bruno put him in to go ahead and get that out of the way while we played the 8 seed. i would have bet on it i was that sure 🙂

Didn’t think Bruno had the balls to sit Duke. Or demote weegar at that. Bruno seems to be coming out of his shell here in the playoffs. Early on and for most of the season Bruno seemed to have a “this isn’t my team, let’s just keep the same things Q did and guys go out there and do your thing” now he seems to be figuring out the you can’t just win off talent in the playoffs you actually gotta COACH and lead. He’s really starting to take charge.
The best part of this series was finally getting over our Playoff overtime struggles. 2-0 in OT. Think about it 2016 which we went 0-3 and lost the series in OT. 2012 we lost the series in OT. this year we clutched up and won the series in OT.
Pumped! Did you guys see the time out. Bruno just stood their n didn’t say a word. Man I wish he would at least open his mouth on the bench to calm the guys down n get them focused on what needs to happen in a crucial time in the game. But anyways the boys did it! I do think they should put G on 2nd power play unit. Man luv G but he needs to move a bit especially in high slot when pucks on opposite side. Bruno is putting to man team building players together. Sometimes to much is not gonna work. Just my opinion

Joe Thornton can get his name on the Cup without playing in the finals by team petition. Unless we're up 3-0, he shouldn't be in the lineup with our depth unless we have a lot of injuries.
