Wonder how much Leafs offered Lyubushkin? Sabres give him 2.75 mil 2yrs. Im surprised he signed for them.
Guys this leafs team is not as good as last year. Leafs don’t have a 2nd line. Dubas is making horrible decisions. Tavares is not a 2nd centre anymore and come on Justin hill is still a leaf. Also dubas waited so long to trade kerfoot that hi 10 team no trade clause has kicked in. This leafs team has 4 amazing players and that’s it.
You guys are drinking the dubas kool-aid. Dubas would be and amazing assistant GM or scouting director. He is not cut out to be a GM of a team.

Dubas acquired an AHL caliber Bobbletan and an old high mileage relic AMC Pacer with no wheels.

Tavares is now a 3C. Leafs have to accept it.Leafs need a good # 2 center younger quicker with good size.

JT was slowing down anyway, but that knee // head hit in the Habs playoff series did him in completely. He is done. Can't believe his contract is 3 more years … they will be long ones. Johnny Hockey contract = $68 Mil; JT contract = $77 Mil – wow. Dubas really overpaid.
it was good that mitch gave his car up..its not worth it…hes much more valuable to us then a vehichle…had something happened to mitch all our lives would have changed…mitch is well worth 11 mill he can drop to D..he can play C…wing..on the london knights he played all positions..im in toronto the police will do their job…insurance will pay 4 his car…as for JT playing wing..naww..keep in mind hes probally top 10 in league on faceoffs….for that reason solo he will remain center
it wasnt JT that sank the leafs…it was simmonds in game 2 taking uneeded penalties, they banged off atleast 2 with him in the box in a 5 3 loss..you do the math…leafs lost series by 1 goal…
Everyone be freaking out just because Jack and Mikeyev are gone …. suddenly the team is "completely different and worse!!"🤣. …If it ain't a huge flashy splash signing, these fellow fans lose their minds…. The two depth D that were signed were for most likely call-up / part time players….or in the event of injury…..Then the wacky leaf fans lose it
I hate to say it because I don't think he's the problem here at all but nylander a 1st and sandin might pull Matty Tk from Calgary. imo immediately the team would be better. Or if we could find a player like him with less name value would be amazing.
