Congrats to Phil Kessel-good signing by the Blues,picking up Tyler Pitlick—should be a good fit–JVR being hurt sucks for him and the Flyers–Love that the Senators are off to a good start this season,hope they can keep it going–praying the injuries stay at a minimal–hate to see any player get hurt and be unable to play–OMG,the Canucks are on full flounder mode,season could go swirling down the drain fast.

Why would you trade Garland? He is a good player with a good contract. That being said, he’s not going to fetch you anything significant in a trade.

Mike Yeo? Seriously? I'm amazed that guy has any kind of coaching job at all after the fiascos in St. Louis and Philly. I was shocked Canucks basically did nothing to improve the D core in the off season. Even though Kessel could play a game with a dozen eggs attached to him, and not break one of them, it's still a pretty impressive record. Still early in the season, but the Wild have to be somewhat worried about how Fleury is playing, and an unproven back up goalie.
