Not surprised Gaudreau opted for Columbus..like Nashville the management has cultivated its own valued hockey universe in 21st century expansion Era. Players enjoy their experiences playing in these venues. Word gets around apparently in locker rooms.
I viewed Winnipeg in similar way ..smaller market is awesome..and was thrilled when they moved from Atlanta. You have a great fanbase..I believe this is a terrific spot for hockey! I
I do wish the Manitoba based management here in Vegas would adopt a more constructive approach to the Knights! It isn’t long cold winters here. Guys need to take daily timeouts from City National Arena..it is dark and cavernous inside. Not enough sun! Just might serve as a promoter that life in the desert has its own upside.
I so agree with Mike Kelly’s observations. This is a very good team.. these Jets!

Sonny Milano should be a Winnipeg jet
Trouble in the Peg. bad 2021, coaching change in middle of season which didn't help, leadership of Wheeler and Sciefle in question, Wheeler untradeable, Trotz turns us down, PLD wants to play in MTL. We may be closer to Bedard than a playoff spot.
Chevy's response should be the same as Bill Guerin.
If he wants to play in Montreal, Jets should talk to MTL then at the last second trade him to Carolina for Kotkaniemi
I've been starting to wonder if Ken is on the Jets staff payroll. It's frustrating, he so defensive of the team and organization – especially Chevy and Chipman. Those 2 guys have dropped the ball over these past few seasons. Let's call a spade a spade.
Jets don't need to add and forward or defenseman.
We need to trade PLD, Wheeler, Mark
Dillion, SCHMIDT, Demelo and bring Zero back.
We HAVE SO MANY AMAZING YOUNG FORWARDS AND DEFENSEMAN THAT NEED TO PLAY!!!
Hus -"What a kick in the 🥜 's." Reverberation felt.
The bad teams make mistakes spending too much on 2nd and third line players. You need a top elite line then filll in the rest of the spots.3rd line players cannot make 2+ mil a yr.So many teams just spend what they got and think "oh therse guys will improve us but then all their cap space is gone and then cannot make anymore moves for example an elite player.
Gaudreau mmade a dumb mistake going to CBJ immo a selfish move because he wants to look like the hero but he is NOT winning the cup in CCBJ.
How will it affect CGY?LOL it will destroy them you can't lose an elite center and still be a contender.I wouldn't be surprised of Cgy struggles slipping in to the playoffs but will NOT be a true legit contender.
I agree with Andrew the roster can be however you want but we need a shakeup or that guy/guys to sell to rest of league and fans. Kind of why wanted Wright or next year Michkov or Bedard someone be here get people excited. Hasn't been that way since Laine,Byfuglien, team returned.
Looks like roster will be same unless trades ufa are dwindling only ones left could see is stastny, neidereitter, Ladd, Tierney,Janmark.
But if halfway through next season it goes bad should decide rebuild
With the Bombers beating the Lions last week, it kind of acted like a reset…where each aspect of the roster was playing well. O, D, ST. In most cases, it's a loss that brings you back to the table. Forces you to take a step back, re-evaluate. Calgary is the last major threat…who are always prepared year in and year out. The Stamps like to win…they're managed, built, and coached to win. Too many brain-farts missing FG's and converts won't wash this week for the Bombers. You just can't let your D and O down like that after creating turnovers and sustaining long drives…only to crap the futon. That's mentally and physically draining.
I don't think Jets' fans expect(ed) any big signings at free agency but they did expect some significant changes through trades. Wheeler for a bag of pucks would give the fanbase hope (and improve the team imo). Change, any change, brings hope, lol.
It's been a depressing off-season to date. I hope Chevy gets off his butt, speaking of which, he's looking relatively svelte these days, or have my eyes deceived me?
Rabbi Liebel’s intuition seems to be coming to fruition. Dark days?
I like the Rittich signing, Good value for a solid back up
