  1. Sekeres always has to "one-up" Price. Whereas Price has a face made for radio (podcasts), Sekeres has that AND a voice suited for print media.

  2. until Aquilini sells the team nothing of substance changes

  3. Francesco is like that person when you tell them what you want they're like "We hear you.. But what if the exact opposite instead?". 👎😖

  4. "make the playoffs, make some money" seems to be it for the ownership.. but by making the playoffs your only goal – your blueberry pie gets compromised, and you end up with just a bad product that doesnt do a good job at being a blueberry pie, or even a desert. you can try hide the faultiness with scoops of ice cream on top, but the problems will remain. looking at vancouver prospect pool, even if they miraculously made the playoffs this year, we would have the same discussion next year. because the core isnt good enought to string togethor wins, the prospect pool is not good enough to make the team better or fill in. Jack Rathbone(?), never heard so much speculation about a 4th rounder from 2017, and the reason for that is that Rathbone is their only prospect! they need players! sell, sell, rebuild, do it right, get assets! maybe aqualini wants to sell the team, but want a playoffs success story to bull the vancouver market value so he can get more for it. who knows? that is what it feels like, because the underlining effort of making this team better feels very shallow.

  5. A rebuild would be painful, however, whats more painful is being pretty much promised that we will make the playoffs the last three seasons and we don’t. I would rather go through a rebuild and be excited for a great roster in the next six years or how ever long it takes. What the point of just getting to the first round. We want to be a contender. I really think if they don’t rebuild this year, there will be a lot of fans who will not buy tickets, do people agree?

  6. Is there a way we, the fans, and the city can force the sale of the Canucks?

  7. The Canucks are already out of the playoffs in Oct! In order for the Canucks to go .500 by the 20 game mark they need to go 10-4. It’s not happening folks. Worst start to the season in the 50 years of Canucks history. It’s TANK nation baby! Lets get Connor Bedard! Bruce will be fired next week. Total disaster from top to bottom of this failed organization. This is karma for the Aquilini family allegations! Hey Matt, looks like i picked the perfect time to leave Vancouver and move to El Salvador.

  8. Aquaman just wants to sell playoffs tickets. But we want a Cup in Vancouver and the province of British Columbia. For once, make the right call and rebuild this team.

  9. aquilini is the tip of the spear. anyone who hires a coach a couple of days before replacing the GM and hiring a president is a control freak who just can't stop himself. he is the puppet master behind this mess.

  10. At the very least put a different Aquilini at the helm, maybe one that has a long term plan
Ironic a family that made most of it’s money in construction can’t construct a hockey team and seems to have no clue on how to do so

  11. Signing and resigning top 9 forwards while not adding any new defencemen is a clear indication that the “no plan” plan continues to be the driving principal for this team. Goals are fun, but they won’t win you a lot of games, let alone a championship.

  12. Anyone that assaults his own children while they sleep can't be trusted to make good decisions for his hockey team
