3rd and 4th line is fine, they actually show up. Kampf is the leading goal scoring for 5 on 5 for the leafs. The top boys need to figure stuff out, matthews watching the first goal against SJ…

someone on the FAN 590 Kipper and Bourne show yesterday summed it up perfectly .I forgot who said it .He said " this team is built around 5 players ( MAthews Marner J.T Wille and Reilly ) .These 5 players have to be awesome -and if they are not awesome ,the machine doesn't work .He hit the nail right on the head . You CANT CANT CANT put half your cap money into 5 players but our brilliant GM ,the whiz kid Mr analytics does not see that .Funny how he seems to think he is smarter than ALL the other 30 GMS in the leaugue .He needs to be shown the door right now along with Keefe
Can never have true depth on this team since dubas thought it was a good idea to tie 40% of the cap into 4 players. This team is so poorly managed. The whole organization top to bottom are just collectively losers. While it may be a good thing to fire dubas, the next monkey they bring in will probably just do the same BS and the fans will eat it up. I think the only chance this team ever becomes great is when the fans finally stop buying tickets and merch. MLSE will be losing money and they will hate that considering they care more about making money than success on the ice

Yeah, 4th line is meh, but it's 4th line. Top line has been horrible, not just offensively but defensively as well.
Also defence too
