I legit didn’t expect a 7 goal game from the team this season but here we are and I’m so jacked up

  2. Ropeycarnivore

Dvorak hatrick in the 3rd was not on my bingo card for the night

  3. RunnerDucksRule

Words cannot express how excited I am for the future of this team

    These kids are amazing

  4. Minato_is_God

This is the kind of game I want to see this year, tons of chances and all the kids producing.

Also, shout out to Kovacevic, the guy has been ridiculously consistent for a 25 year old waiver pickup rookie.

it’s like they’re not even trying to tank or something, GO HABS GO!!!

  6. mazatta

The icing on the cake was Sportsnet cutting over to the last 0:20 so I could see the Leafs lose.

    JAKE ALLEN FIRST SEASON POINT

3 points for Goal and Zukes each? Good night!

  8. Maclae27

Goals from Suzuki, Caufield and Slaf in a big win. I mean what could we ask more? Great times

  9. SteakMan43

David Savard did so good tonight

  10. Guindon05

Alright… 9 games in… I think we can safely place our bets on David Savard winning the Norris!

  11. TripleWDot

I’m going through a really tough time in my life right now. But these last 2 games have given me some happy moments. That was a fun game to watch. GHG

    HOLY FUCK DAVID SAVARD.

I mean, there’s a lot to talk about but don’t let the pirouette man be forgotten!

  13. MajinV232

    Multi-goal Caufield and multi-point Nick?

    Slaf goal?

    *Dvorak hatty in the 3rd?!*

Damn, I missed an amazing game.

  14. Xilo_Atomik

Amazing game from Slaf. He’s adapting fast, his forecheck game is elite. Dude is staying in Montreal

  15. xaznxplaya

Habs never gave up after 2 goals deficit, what a team

  16. heavie1

Caufield is only behind Mcdavid in goal scoring

Savard était tellement bon ce soir wowowowow

  19. shitwalkingsimp

People at RDS was mad because Dvorak didn’t have a goal.

Tomorrow they will be exited because he got a hat trick.

    Happy for him !

  20. Kotkavision

Slaf really highlighting his skill set this game. Using his size to win puck battles and control the puck.
Top line of goal – Suz – Slaf could be pretty great

  21. RyanWalts

    So impressed with Slafkovsky tonight.

That shift in the 2nd, where Slaf tore it up on the forecheck and got a shot off the post, was a glimpse at his potential imo. Looked so good, like a real elite power forward. Then the powerplay goal? This is absolutely the most optimistic I’ve been about him at any point since draft day.

Just a quick reminder that this kid is 18.

    *GOOD*

    – Dvorak all it took was one period of hockey and now the stats aren’t so bad after all. Well done 🧢🧢🧢

    – Really fun hockey game and didn’t really expect a track meet between these two teams. Always better coming out of that on top and the Habs did.

    – Habs ahead of the leafs.

    – Slafkovsky was excellent tonight. Goal aside, winning board battles, engaged in the play throughout just a total W on the game.

    – Kovacevic really defensively solid. Same for Savard, same for Harris. No real huge plays but generally just rocks out there. Harris never makes a mistake.

    – Dach with some points.

    – Suzuki and Caufield were fire yet again. The chemistry there is going to be there for the next 15 years.

    – While not outstanding having Armia in for Dadonov is a huge upgrade.

    – Evans was solid. Quietly piecing together some really nice games here, I think the offense is close to breaking out a bit here as well.

    – Allen struggled a bit but then made some huge saves when he had to.

    – The powerplay?

    – another comeback from down two goals. Something last years team could *never*. I mean *never*.

    *BAD*

    – Didn’t think Pezzetta was good at all. It’s his first game so there is obviously some leeway but a lot of weak plays with the puck. Hopefully once some game legs return he looks like last year.

    – Really hate to do this again but didn’t like Hoffman play tonight again.

    – Blues seemed to be hitting pretty high. Plus somehow Krug sucked Suzosieeee into a non existent penalty,,, refs…

    – A little bit too loose in their own end. The third they were up two goals but it seemed like the Blues easily could have tied things up.

    – Guhle is going to be a 1D. He is so freaking good, however, there were a few errors tonight that were rookie mistakes.

Why didn’t we get a pp on the coach’s challenge?
