Olofsson’s shot is disgusting. They literally sell that they’re passing to him and he still scores.

  2. Icommentoncrap

Real nice comeback in the 3rd late and into OT but not a pretty game. Had a great start but holy shit the second was bad and it didn’t help all the hawks goals were dirty, greasy goals up front. Olofsson and Thompson both with 2 and an an absolute beauty to end it after being down 3-1

  3. GuybrushThreepwood94

Great comeback. They REALLY need to work on the D zone though. Those goals against shouldn’t have happened. Hope they build on this win going forward.

  4. roozey14

What a comeback wow, gotta love the never quit attitude of this team.

Olofsson haters in shambles right now

  5. Tactial_snail

I love this team, way to fight back.

  6. King-of-the-idiots69

I’m sorry powerplay olofsson, but for your powers to stay I’m gonna continue the shit talk

I’m not sorry 5v5 olofsson you still aren’t good

Dylan cozens works well with basically anyone and tage is fucking back (not like he was gone but he was electric at the end)

Sabres respond to the gut check and comeback this team is clutch

Edit: why the downvotes for him to keep his powers I must shit talk

  7. LAMProductions99

This game was a WILD RIDE. Big W. BIG W. Big for Tommer. Big for Goalofsson. Big for US.

    79-3-0!

  8. Rockhardwood

That Mits-Olofosson-Quinn line looked electric in the offensive zone when they got there. Great puck movement.

Defense is soft as shit and it’s infuriating. All 3 goals were a result of not enough battle in front of our net. I know we’re missing our two best guys for that, but you can’t replace them with two softies like Pilut and Clauge.

  9. sarcastic_man_13

Alright, don’t sit Olofsson. But he shouldn’t be in the top 9 either.

  10. Sabres8127

Thank you Goaloffson and Tage “meat missile” Thompson

  11. seeldoger47

granato does a lot of goofy stuff but placing Okposo on the Thompson Skinner line (not something I think I’d ever consider) really paid off: 0.732 xGF, 0.044 xGA, 2 actual goals for, 12 shots for, and 1 against in four minutes and four seconds of work.

  12. UnhappySquirrel

I tuned in a minute before the comeback.

    You’re all fucking welcome!

  13. gobills1365

What a comeback. Gutsy performance from tage. Showed why we paid him.

  14. Freeyourmind917

Seems like Krebs is probably next on in the press box. Quinn has been a lot better than him imo

  15. slightlyuglyboss

I’ll take it! Feels good to get a dub

  16. missyouboty

Rage Rhompson is earning that contract

  17. CleverUsername5200

They played great, just took a while to break Soderblom. Way to keep the pressure on.

  18. Nice comeback, good game overall, Hawks were outplayed

  19. Sgt-Pumpernickel

Despite some trouble in their own zone, it’s nice to start seeing the hot shot against totals drop too

« Talk me through the game winner. The pass you made to Victor » -pham

    « I always look for him. He’s got a deadly shot. » – Dahlin

    Pros:

Holy shit is this what it looks like to fight back and win? God bless.

Power looked better offensively with some real creativity.

Dahlin may be the best defenseman in hockey right now. He was taking over puck possession and running through walls to force chances like McDavid at points tonight.

Tage and Vic activating brings me some hope for our offense.

    Cons:

Powerplay still looks like shit. Please just give us Dahlin+Power. There’s no point in spreading our offense over the two units if neither one is scoring.

Power still had some airheaded defensive zone possessions and looked pretty weak when dealing with the forecheck.

This is the 2nd goal and Dahlin point that Mitts has overturned this season with poor blueline discipline. He needs to figure himself out fast because if you can’t stick in the Buffalo forward group you’re probably not going to be an NHL mainstay for long.

A consistent goaltender is going to be huge for this team, but we don’t have one just yet.

Big win, thought it was slipping away again.

  24. thatcarguy420

The refs were ass. That being said, great comeback win.

  25. Sonny_Zwack

« Olofsson with the TKOvertime goal. »

We knew that going from RJ to Dan would be a downgrade but we didn’t know how much of a downgrade it would be.

  26. StartButtonPress

Can’t believe Cozzy had another butt of the stick save on him

  27. jimmy_beans

Hey, I recognize that team from the end of last year.

  28. Track11T

Vic absolutely pissed on that OT ripper. Great comeback win, and two weeks in a row with 40+ shots. Just gotta get more of them in the back of the net.

  29. helikoopter

Happy to see the win, but disgusted with the usage of Quinn.

    PROS:

    – I really like the way they are breaking up plays in the neutral zone

    – taking a lot of shots

    – Cozens and Dahlin

    – Quinn looks better and better every game.

    – Making lineup adjustments

    CONS:

    – Usage of the young guys

    – Lack of East/West puck movement

    – d zone when pressured

  30. seeldoger47

Quinn probably needs to see more ice time

  31. Philbert333

So uh, great fun comeback and all, but what was up with our faceoffs?? Is Chicago just really great at draws or were we particularly bad for some reason. Felt like we didn’t win a single one in the third

  32. BuffaloRude

Good to see the boys hang in there for 60+ minutes.
