Oilers did not deserve to win that game.

Marky let in a soft one
I hate the Oilers with every Fibre of my being.
That is all.
You know what would be really nice?
1. If our top players stepped up like theirs did
2. If our « Vezina calibre » goalie didn’t let in one terrible goal a game
3. If the refs just did their fucking jobs
If the Flames play like that they win 9 out of 10 times
I’m getting really annoyed with Huberdeau and Lindholm doing nothing at 5v5, they have got to be better
Marky was good but the second goal killed the momentum
Markstrom should see the bench any time we play the Oilers from now on and the top line needs to figure their shit out.
And the refs need Lasik.
Markstrom changed that game completely. If you’re a goaltender….
Frusterating loss
I know its not trendy to rip on Marky anymore and yes he actually played really well tonight but like a lot of the team we need him to play like a pro for the first time this season and actually have a complete game. On to the next one.
That’s just unlucky af. Flames outplayed for like 80% of the game, but that own goal for the first and the misplay from Markstrom for the 2nd…sometimes the puck luck doesn’t go your way.
Really loving Tanev this game. Dude singlehandly broke up so many plays.
Markstrom made MANY Ten bell saves. Weak goal? Yes. But also played very very very well up to and after that.
It is a fact refs don’t call penalties on McDavid and give him BS powerplays to pocket points. I have no trust in Markstrom agains Oilers.

I dunno man.. I can usually handle a loss, especially this early in the season but that 3rd period left the worst taste in my mouth, like we deserved to win that game.. why can we not get 1 lucky flukey goal (which apparently is the only way to score on Skidmark Skinner) yet they get 3… and don’t even get my started on the officiating tonight.. I dunno.. I would rather lose to the Coyotes 3 games in a row than lose to the oilers like that.. ugh how can I delete tonight from my brain

We outshot them 42-25. That happened a bunch in the early part of last year too. Of course – they were all easy shots, as they always are. If we got outshot 42:25 and lost 3-2, I wouldn’t put it on the goalie. But we didn’t, so Marky wears this one.
