Ok, let me get this straight, there are people who truly take this franchise seriously! I Have watched the Leafs for the last 50 years, they are something to do on a slow Saturday night, never anything more. The saddest thing of all is people invest time and money into this, even if they scrub everything it won’t matter, believe me I’ve watched them scrub and have a non rebuild for fifty years, nothing to see here folks move along…

Ah, the usual freak-outs & abject panic from some fans. Wow. Do you think the fans of the Avs, Wild, Preds, Blues, Lightning, Pens & Rangers are all engaged in the same hair-on-fire hand wringing as so many Leaf fans? All those teams, most of whom are considered good, to really good, have records to date, the same as, or worse than Toronto. Take a f**king pill & calm down. If they're still playing this sub-par, mistake riddled, careless brand of hockey by the 20 game mark, THEN you can start freaking. Until then, while it's frustrating to watch Holl take crap penalties leading to PP goals against, plus Engvall & Sandin being inexcusably careless with needless turnovers also leading directly to goals (there's all 4 LA goals btw) it's all correctable. It's amazing how off his game Matthews is, but it won't last, of that I'm sure.
The leafs have the same record as they did last year 4-4-1 we'll see what happens tonight against Anaheim who has one win this season, if the leafs beat Anaheim tonight they'll be tied in 2nd place with Florida with 11 pts each, Matthews and Marner always start slow, what is concerning is the leafs D Holl is terrible and Sandin hasn't played well either, also the bottom 6 has been terrible as well. But its only 9 games in, usually 20 games in is the benchmark to see where a team is, but it starts tonight with a must win over Anaheim.

I think it’s time for a coaching change.
Our defence has lost too many games for us…Holl has been a huge liability….how many more games do you leave him in? Our forwards are not scoring…so why not stir up energy with at least a few HITS…..Coach should be making these simple observations and addressing…not repeating for 5 games…..time for a new Coach that sees how defence and at least some Physical play can win games.
Habs won tonight beat the lLeaves in playoffs and in a rebuild Leaves core built to win a cup now I hope after 9 year's it does not take this long for the Habs

No, its not the Leafs fault that every team is great against them. The Kings are a pro hockey team with a potential to even contend for a playoff position. Pulling out a win against a team of that caliber is a real ask. As severely naive fans, we must continue to manage our expectations, spend more money and say all nice things to make sure everyone feels safe and appreciated in that dressing room at all times. Do not fret; the Shannyplan is going to start working as long as they keep doing the same thing over and over and over again.
This team blows as usual!
Imagine that earning 10m a year is actually hard work, fire marner or matthews and this issue goes away.
