  1. Steve love you man , also loved you on the john scott, tims wheresburger pod! you guys got some good chemistry

  2. Samething with forsberg Goalie was carrying them the whole time

  3. I'm starting to notice that across media coverage of the leafs, there's a consistent note that the older players are the ones playing well, and the young guys arnt applying themselves.

I think people are way overthinking this over the last few years. They had it right in the begining. You have young dude who were given the sun and the moon without earning it

And perhapse it isn't even at a conscious level, but there seems to be some sort of entitlement that has poisoned the team.

  4. it's better for the leaf to get their hard time early in the season than to late, Dubas have time to make the change he needs. I hatet the leaf but still a canadian team i want them to do well.

  5. Fire Shanahan. This is the guy who got Keefe's b@lls chopped off with the CORRECT comment about how the top guys weren't playing good enough. Soft melon head team president who chose inperienced Dubas over sure thing Hunter and is a complete corporate kiss a$$. Why is a team president a guy who went behind the back of an old teammate and slept with dude's wife anyway. Set an example and have a guy running the franchise who is not passive aggressive like Shanahan.

  6. Time for a shake up. Shanny needs to go same with Dubas. And probably get rid of Marner too. He cannot take any criticism from the coach or he crumbles. Couldn't handle Babcock and can't handle Keefe lol. Bring in Trotz!

  7. This has been going on for years now. Players who have no work ethic, no intensity or the ability to play defense. They will rattle off 4-5 wins in a row and Dubas will convince everyone they are "on the right track" and we will keep spinning

  8. Kyle Dubas has created a very Femmine team that has no heart. We need man hockey, and he has given us boy hockey. Everyone knew since last year's loss in the playoffs that they need to go out and get some impact players. The GM neglected to do his job by not acquiring what the team needed, instead he went out and signed more common soft players in the off season. Look at Hyman in Edmonton, 3 goals in 4 games, in the Highlights on tv almost every night. Kyle Dubas made the decision that that kind of heart and skill wasn't worth 5 mil… he decided to spend that 5 mil of Holl and Kerfoot. Hyman is a star on the oilers, their fans are laughing at the leafs that they let this guy walk away for Free. —> Fire Dubas, that's how you fix the problem

  9. I think I would rather play Tavares with 3rd/4rd liners than the actual ppl from 1st/2nd line 😀

  10. Hi, Steve. I believe there is a covert mutiny underway that the entire bench is not involved in. Certain "A" players are missing everything except tap-ins. The only saver is that Briere hasn't gotten to any of the current goalies. 2 more executive decisions have to be made, and I won't sneak up on this one. Keefe and Shanahan and if nothing improves, the un-named GM should be next. Happy Halloween!

  11. Jesus Steve really does A. Not let things go and B. Shows his bias hard. At 5:00: Yes, everyone knows Lemieux bit someone. However hardly anyone knows the truth of that situation. Brady Tkachuk was gauging Lemieux's eye in. Literally pressing down on his eye. You understand how easy that can do everlasting damage to someone. Any single person would do anything possible to get out of that situation and not risk going blind. Lemieux did what he had to do. Should he have still been suspended, absolutely. But jesus Steve you gotta either let it go or tell the full story.

  12. I think you guys trade Nylander and get 2 dmen that’s worth the trade. You guys make it to the 3rd round at least

  13. Nothing better than watching the laughable Leafs fall to defeat with a diehard Leaf fan….thank you for the entertainment Steve 🙂

  14. I’m no hockey genius, but having 5 players consisting of more than 60% of their cap isn’t the recipe to success

  15. If Dubas has any bullets left in the chamber he may want to use them now. The D core needs an upgrade and I think Keefe’s lost control of the team. The effort is there, but needing 5 to 6 goals a night to win is not a game plan.
