  1. Buffalo is about to pop off, after too many long miserable years it’s a good time to be a Sabres fan. So much to look forward to

  2. I just love how Eichel pouts and pouts and gets sent to the Golden Knights and then they miss the playoffs…….and now that Las Vegas team is a total disaster

    Hahahaha

  3. What about a trade of Kane to the Sabers for skinner? It would be an interesting blockbuster trade. I'm sure more would go back to Chicago but who knows.

  4. For not being alive for the mid 2000’s Sabres teams, this is by far the most exited I have ever been for the Sabres. Btw love your content and keep up the great work.

  5. I can agree, this team is really looking to go places. this upcoming year, they may make the playoffs.. I think it might be a close thing.. but if they can sign their two NCAA prospects, Portilllo and Johnson (both seem open to it after the NCAA season) and get Levi as well under contract… I think this season will be the turning point with 23-24 being one there they start to really put things together. It's funny how when Jack leaves, Skinner and Okposo have their best years, Tage Thompson exploded.. this team is looking really good and after seeing some of their development camp, a few of their lower round picks may make a dent in a few seasons as well.

  6. I like the Sabres more now then I ever did with eichel

  7. When the Jack Eichel trade happened I thought I was in for some very tough years as a Sabres fan. The deal has so far turned out to be what seems to have saved this franchise from being a complete disaster in the coming years. We now have half a team full of promising young players who all could excel at the same time.

  8. Great video. Eichel and Buffalo got off to a very bad start. They wanted McDavid and Eichel did not like the idea of going to Buffalo. Everyone tire to be nice,, but it just in't work. He wanted to be captain and turned into the worst captain in Sabre history. Being captain n a hockey team still means something, it really does. Skinner found his game, Tage Thompson, well he is turning into quite the player. The cloud has lifte in Buffalo and the guy like each other now. It up to Vegas to fix Jack, because he sure has the talent, it is his mental game that fails him. Winning would cure that, Vegas still has plenty of talent,, but off loaded so much last year and now this year, trading away players for nothing just to get under the cap. Thank you Vegas, I hope Jack becomes the player you trade for.

  9. Haha!! Vegas took our cancer!!
We got Tuch (a leader), Krebs, the number 16 pick in the 1st round.
I feel overall…Sabres win the trade!!!

  10. eichel thought he was to good for buffalo, thought he was better then buffalo, thought he was so important but actually they don't miss him at all, far from it, they're actually better off without him, adams has done a brilliant job the last 6 months

  11. This was a sweepstakes I was so glad we didn’t win here in Minnesota. Eichel has so much talent but the cost to bring him in was way too high. Vegas had pretty much raped every team in the expansion draft but has made so many recent mistakes. It is so nice to watch them slide back to reality for any suffering fan base. Tuch was a Wild first round pick that Vegas plucked from us. Every time I watch him play it make me wonder what if with our current roster, as he’s exactly Guerin’s type of player. Good for buffalo for grabbing him, great player. I was hoping if Fiala ended up in Buffalo we would grab Tuch back and the number 9 as I felt Talbot was trade bait long before the signing of Fleury. Still love buffalo’s dark jersey #1 in my book. Buffalo’s fan base, like ours deserves a cup…

  12. Remember when there was a debate about him going 1st over McDavid, and people saying he could be just as good?

  13. And Buffalo misses out on Havelid, who outscores both Ostlund and Ohgren at the U18s because nobody is bothering to look at scoring D and thinking of changing titles.

  14. Also the Sabres have 3 2nd round draft picks in 2023. Plus if Ryan Johnson doesn't sign the Sabres will get the #64 overall selection in the 2024 draft as compensation.

  15. The team almost immediately improved once Eichel was traded. You got a bunch of young guys that for one want to be in Buffalo but two that are hungry to win. Exciting times for Sabres fans

  16. One of the most poetic moments from last season for Sabres fans IMO was Tuch stealing the puck away from Eichel and scoring the empty netter to seal the victory over VGK in Eichel’s return to Buffalo.

Felt like the closing of one era and the beginning of a new one.

  17. Sabres fan – I don’t blame jack we were a tire fire when he was here, horrible coach and gm … we had good prospects when jack was here he just didn’t want to wait it out, I do think it’s funny he ended up in Vegas who’s window is closing quickly (2-3 years), but jack will have a huge year next year and Vegas will be good, for my sabres I think we will be around .500, still a year away unless we make a move or the kids just go off

  18. We moved out a 10mill × 8yr contract as well. Tuch energy is infectious you noticed his energy spread throughout the entire team. Tuch , Krebs , 1st rounder in exchange for a spoiled rotten brat with a huge contract. Sabres definitely won this trade.

  19. The Sabres are my team to watch. They are a young fun team. Although thanks to cap parity it'll be tough in a few years to keep all these guys. I'm so happy for Sabres fans. At the very least this team is going to be fun and disruptive.
As a Blackhawks fan I need some team to be invested in. Watching the Post-Apocalyptic Blackhawks is going to be a tough pill to swallow.

  20. You know the old saying: the team that gets the best player wins the trade. Therefore Buffalo won the trade.

  21. Buffalo and The red wings are going to be huge next year just watch.

  22. The Sabres will be good again way sooner then anyone expected. This team was playing at a 100 point pace in March and April last season and that was without all of their prospects. Wouldn’t surprise me if they fight for a playoff spot this year.

  23. There should be a picture of Eichel when you look up prima donna in the dictionary. That guy and his eyeroll attitude are poison to whatever team he's on.

  24. Fun fact, since the game where we beat Jack and Vegas at home, the Sabres went on a 100+ point pace to finish the season

  25. The future is blindingly bright in Buffalo. Krebs Cozens, Thompson, Quinn, Peterka, Levi, Portillo, Dahlin, Samuelson, Power, Savoie, Ostlund, Kulich, The sheer amount of young high end young players we have is truly remarkable.
