This core will *never* win a President’s trophy. Not because they can’t, but because they don’t care enough to. If they were making conference finals *at least*, then I wouldn’t care. But you’d think when you continually embarrass yourself in the playoffs that you’d want to prove *something*. Like imagine last year if in response to blowing the series vs Montreal, they came back and dominated the regular season. Even if it’s kind of trivial, at least you’re making some kind of statement.
