Making the playoffs is a fun thing for Toronto FC next year. Every other team here it’s assumed, especially for the money they charge. Do better
St Louis fired their coach mid season and won the Cup. Tampa Bay is also doing bad. Colorado is also doing bad. Etc etc.

I’ve been firmly on the trade Nylander and not Marner camp thus far but after tonight, fuck it trade them both.
Trade away more draft picks, scrape by into the playoffs. Lose Round 1. Don’t make any changes in the off season to the core/defense. Rinse . Repeat.

Well, if they play like this, no, they won’t make the playoffs. But assuming they’ll eventually stop being little bitch babies and put in some effort, they will. And they’ll once again lose in the first round and once again tell us how much they hate it and will get ’em next year.
I think I’ve officially become too old for sports reddit. All these memes coming from twitch and other places are so annoying and add nothing other than these idiots hoping for upvotes. All this shit can be left in the game day threads, post game threads, or make an actually post that says something other than just spamming memes.
Now I’m gunna sound like the old man yelling at cloud, but I’m in a hobby group chat that is localized for my neighborhood. Most of the chat is 30+ years old. There no limits to who they allow in the group which is great because it allows the group to grow and coordinate stuff. Recently some high schoolers joined and at first they were fine, few weeks in they start spamming memes and pepe shit just like these sports subs.
Holy shit….I don’t know how many times this needs to be said, but no one is thinking they’re going to miss the playoffs! Ffs that’s not what people are pissed about.
They’re pissed because this group is gonna the exact same shit year over year with the exact same struggles and exact same patterns…which leads people to think “what’s different about this years team from previous?”
