Cmon now, there’s a completely logical reason – our coach is a total bellend

Look, I get that Robertson is the new exciting kid so people want to be high on him but he’s done very little since his opening game against Dallas. He’s got a 42.40% xG. A -8.60% relative to the other members of the team. His closest comparable is David Kampf, who starts in the offensive zone a full 25% less often than Robertson. Robertson’s lines basically don’t play in the offensive zone because they are constantly hemmed in the other end.

Robertson – Tavares – Marner
Kerfoot – Matthews – Nylander

Well when they’re scoring the 27th most goals per game in the league, it’s easy to understand why they don’t have room for another offensively minded player with a lethal shot

it’s obvious by now that keefe doesn’t trust or want to play him. sandin is in the same boat. these aren’t players that keefe wants so we need to find some that he actually will use.
there have to be more undervalued assets that play an engvall and holl style game that dubas can unearth and I fully trust him to be able to fit them into this group.

I think it’s time to send Sheldon Queef back to the MARLIES.

I said during he game why are they even bothering calling him up.
What message are they sending to everybody, that the same players will play regardless of how they are doing. I’m not convinced that anybody on our fourth line, or bunting, or Jarnkrok was playing better than Robertson.
All this says is that there really isn’t any internal competition and shows why guys are so comfy being mediocre out there. Robertson, Steeves, Gaudette, McCan, Anderson should all of been in and played meaningful minutes they way this season is going.

Nylander playing 12 minutes of 5v5 is a much more questionable thing.

I have no idea what issue Keefe has with Robertson, but it needs to stop, right now.

Robertson is a rookie I know but he has been atrocious defensively
