Thanks for posting again. The Leafs have a work ethic problem in their organizational culture that is at least very prevalent among the players. If any of them desire to be champions, this problem must be resolved in both the short-term and long-term. The team needs to realize that talent alone would not help if the required effort is not present. That is why the Leafs do not deserve to be champions. Wake up!
What a fantastic comeback. I can't remember a road trip by the Leafs that was more rewarding. Thank you Leaf fans for giving me something to laugh about after a Leafs loss. But this one was special. As Matthews feels at home in Toronto, what's the chances of a hometown discount after his contract expires next season. The Shanahanplan is working to perfection.
Maybe the leafs biggest problem is that half of their salary cap is composed of only 4 players (Matthews,Tavares,nylander and marner). Maybe its time to trade a few of them

You could program a computer or tablet and the reports could press numbers 1 through 5 for the answers the players will give. They have been the same since the losing streak started. The players would be better off staying in the showers or packing up their stuff and heading off to the next city to lay an egg. It is going to be a long season. Matthews is already looking to go home and play in his home town. Wonder where I heard that before? They lack the drive, determination and desire to be a dominate team. There is always next year!

Leafs were 3rd in the league in scoring (IIRC) when they signed – a scorer. I've said on different channels, if the GM's thought process is to run the "Core-4" back again, and again, with minor changes in the D corps and goalie – and expect different results? That is insanity.
There was a huge argument between Dubas and Keefe, Shanny got involved- basically Keefe isn’t allowed to publicly call out “elite players” since the fans need to believe in them. Nick Kypreos alleges that ppl around management heard that , that’s why no one including keefe can call out the elite players . The core will not be moved

NHL at this point is not doing much better than the Leafs are. Everybody, cool your jets it's a long 82 game season. The Leafs will be just fine.

It looks like the LOAFS are making more Steve Dangles out of their ‘fans’. More videos of fans taking to the web to vent frustrations based on this team falling all over themselves. Now it gets worse because the important figures (those who are in control, see MLSE et al Shanahan and above) As I’ve said from the time Dubas signed John Tavares, he has the wrong idea about what the makeup of a successful NHL team NEEDS. Hang on Leafs fans, it’s going to be a loooong season. No moves to make to make a contender out of this team short term. Keefe will likely go first as it did with Babcock, but Dubas is at the root of the problem…AGAIN…

HOLD THE PLAYERS RESPONSIBLE!, fans need to stop looking for excuses for this team and let them fight their way out of a bad slump thats what true cup contenders do and right now they don't even play as a team or stick up for eachother. Whether its only 10 games or we need a new coach. The team is built similar to last year and we knew that coming in. Dubas & Shanahan were willing to live or die with this team. If the team fails to get out the 1st round let it happen. Start clean in the offseason top to bottom. A coaching change or 1 trade might get things going during the regular season but don't be fooled because once again it's still the same core with a different role players…
Mitch gets benched, throws a hissy fit, games tied, coach goes back on his word and sends him back. If that’s not a sign someone’s gone idk what is.
