  1. Two Cups in a row is a great achievement but a dynasty !? Let’s at least wait and see if Tampa threepeats.

  2. The Avs roster looks like it's got a heavy dose of Canadian players. Go get that cup boys!

  3. i hope the avs can be a dynasty im scared that they will loose players and not get much to come after winning the cup most likely

  4. TB are not a dynasty…… they will never be in the same strata of NYI, Oil, or the Habs…. they are in the LA, Hawks covo and that is good but that is all

  5. You all seem to think the Avs have a lock. They don't. Game 5 was pathetic. No puck control most of the 3rd. Tampa's first goal was equally pathetic. There will be cup this year if the play doesn't change dramatically. Tampa could easily win 3 in a row against the Avs team I watched play in game 5.

  6. Super Joe learned from the best. Pierre LaCroix. And today ol’ Papa is looking down and smiling.

  7. Damn.
The Lighting were really built by Steve Yzerman now this.

Yeah, Stevey should have gotten that Cup with The Bolts

  8. I'd say the only trade Sakic has "lost" was the Kuemper trade. Timmins, a 1st and a conditional 3rd was overpaying for a goalie who only had one year left on his deal before being a UFA. Grubauer signing with Seattle put them in a rough spot and didn't leave them with much other choice. It was definitely one of those moves where if you won a cup with Kuemper, nobody would care about the price.

Turns out nobody cares about the price.

  9. There is nothing new here. Every GM is trying to do this. When your team wins, your a genius.
