atkinson hasn't played all year too.
i don't think philly will do it, but if the cards actually fall into place this year, they could be a good team.
saying that tho, i can't see all those keys injured players coming back, i'm assuming ellis is going to retire, coots could have his career ended after last weeks surgery, and atkinson has no news or timeline….craziest time to be a flyers fan. haven't we put up with enough here?!?!

I don't think this team is good enough to make it. There's signs of some solid steps forward, but the roster is thin, and the best teams on paper haven't heated up yet.
Fuck no with Couturier out 4 months and Atkinson out indefinitely too. With Couturier they had a shot but without him the team is not good and just relying on Hart to play incredible every game.
You had to be at the game to understand why they got benched. They didn’t do shit in the offensive zone and everyone else on the ice had to carry them. Hayes and Konecny basically parked themselves in front of the net and let everyone else do the work
What people don't understand about hockey goalies is they are as good as your teams defense and structure. Because TORTs made the entire team into goalies, the actual goalie will excel. Happens on every team. Structure makes a good goalie, because the type of shots that are coming through are different. The problem with TORTs is he goes to teams that have no roster, so he plays intensely relying on shutting other teams and fighting for every inch. That takes a toll. They need roster upgrade. In Tampa he won because those kids believed him and he had some talent there, or made talent by discovering kids.
Cheap and easy to keep going after Deangelo like that….and actually unfair what he said. Get over it already. Do some work and say something meaningful.
