@Red Wings de Détroit

Red Wings starting to feel like the Tigers, missing key players right out of the gate:: Tyler Bertuzzi lost to injury at the beginning of the season is like the Tigers missing Casey Mize. Jakub Vrana out of action is like Austin Meadows out. Who’s next?

  2. How many times do people have to say Ned sucks. It’s like everyone on earth can see it but the Red Wings coaching staff. Pathetic

  3. When does the process end? Blashill said the same thing for years. They talk about the process but never say what the process is or when the process might end.

  4. I honestly think Larkin is going to sign somewhere else. This team has a long way to go and with everything done in the off season so far it's looked like nothing has changed. Granted, we have injuries and are really testing out depth, but nothing seems to be clicking.

  5. At some point in the third lalonde should’ve pulled Ned after either the 5-3 or 6-3 goals. I’m sure he’s still learning game and player management but Ned was checked out with 6 min left in the third. I think there may be some issues with players buying in. It’s hard to say without being in the locker room but when the whole team gives up in a 2 goal game in the third that should tell you something.

  6. I am very disappointed with the way the Red Wings played tonight‘s game. That being said, I am not ready to give up on them, and I sure am not ready to give up on Stevie Y, or Coach Lalonde. We had Blashill for years we’ve had Lalonde this season. How about if we at least give this season a chance before we throw our arms up in the air!

  7. We need at least one brutal animal on defense who loves to drive his stick thru forwards rib cages and make their faces look like a Picasso painting. Trade Zadina and a 3rd for Radko Gudas. On the plus side, Olli Maatta is going to have a career year.

  8. Yeah, it was ugly. But let’s pump the brakes. Our depth has been an issue for years. Think of who’s out: Bert, Vrana, Fabbri, Ras. Our D is young as is our full team. It’s growing pains, it’ll get better.

  9. From the looks of this game it seems Detroit needs simply safe in the defensive zone LOL. Honestly I wouldn't have pulled Ned in that game either because he played like crap and he's paid to do a job and he didn't do any of it regardless of the defense a good goaltender keeps your team in the game even with a horrible defense examples Hasek and Price just to name a couple that had teams like that in their career and kept them in the game price for example when he took them to the Stanley cup finals that defense was trash in my opinion that team was not that great and he helped them all the way there. I love Ned to death but he needs to get his head out of his rear so to speak and figure out what the hell he wants to do cuz there is no excuse for this. Same thing with that defense they're paid to do a job and none of them did that job. Copp is yet another one that's not doing what he's paid to do fully he's not bad and keep in mind he never played the preseason or in the training camps due to his surgery so I feel like he will get acclimated properly soon enough. But I asked for that defense that is horrible and atrocious. That being said there were some aspects of this game that we're good such as Dylan Larkin scoring a short-handed goal. And it doesn't help that we don't have Jacob or Bert either which Bird's not really helping himself get a better contract with everything that's been going on, and Jacob is the same way because as much as I love both of them he's been having issues since we first got him and hasn't had a full season under his belt and then now just out of nowhere he's in the player assistance program. I wish him all the best and I know he'll come back and be just as dominant before but like I said, he needs to be on the team and in games playing same as Bert. I could keep going on but I really need to shut up LOL you guys have really good points and it was a great episode and look at the bright side , at least it wasn't double digits lol like the end of last season. As always stay frosty 🥶 my friends and they will figure this out I'm sure. I also how Ned get a fire from this as you could set he was at wits end in that game and he wasn't happy either how it was going. Till next time

  10. This team is just soft. We don’t have any truly elite players besides maybe Seider. When you don’t have elite players a good neutralizer is being more physical. Get Kronwall on the ice for practice and just teach them how to line people up to get laid out. Big hits bring energy to the game especially when at home because get the crowd in the game. Maybe call up Gregg Williams to help them come up with a good bounty system. Lol

    Edit: Just listened to Lalonde’s post game and he said the same thing, we soft. Honestly I’m not sure how you fix that.

  11. I saw a ridiculous video that claimed The Rebuild was over!!! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  12. Losing Bert and Vrana is the difference for our forward group. Losing them makes our offense at best on par with last year's team. Husso needs to be the starter and Ned needs to fight for playing time.
