To be honest all I wanted was for the Rangers to win 1 series let alone the conference finals. I think not making the playoffs in 5 years ( not counting 2020 ) and the making the conference finals in your 1st year back is an improvement.

So the Lightning have gone to 3 Stanley cup finals in three years. They have faced dallas the Canadians and now the avalanche. All three logos have had at least one letter. D for dallas, C,H for the Canadians, and A against Colorado. If you put all the logos letters together and if the win there third Stanley Cup they will be the C.H.A.D Cup Campions !!!😂 ( still a dallas fan tho)

Having only one team the same in the finals multiple times isn't like watching the same movie over and over. If it was the same matchup each year, then I'd understand the opinion.
stupid rationale…. Its extremely impressive that a team can even get to stanley cup twice in salary cap era… winning back-to-back nowadays is a dynasty. Winning three in a row is legendary. This is history in the making…we should admire it and not cry that a new team doesnt win it every year.

In a situation where a team goes to the cup final and loses and then makes it back to the cup final the next season and wins. I think it would be a little silly to be upset about that.
I think even if a team wins back to back it's fine. It's only happened with Pittrsburgh in the past decade.
A three peat is just insane to see and I'm here for it as a non Tampa fan. But I'm also a fan of spoiler so it would be fun to see Colorado knock them out.
But if Tampa did win and then somehow made it back to the cup final next year then good God please lose.

What I hate more than teams repeating is the NHL's hard salary cap. The Rangers window of opportunity will only be 3 to 4 years because of it. A lot of good players won't be resign like Coop, Mott and Georgiev. I'm hoping that Vatrano will be resigned but who knows if the Rangers decide to keep Strome instead. Also I'm not convinced that Gerard Gallant is the coach to lead the Rangers to the Stanley Cup. Jon Cooper totally outcoached him with the adjustments he made without Gallant coming back with an answer.

agree that Rangers is so damn good they got reversed swept. we took on gonna get passed the 1st round Toronto, the prez cup panthers and the dynasty of the future rangers and where are they now? we lost the best 3rd line in the nhl with gourde, goodrow and coleman and rebuilt it around 2nd year colton, who is hagel and never played in the playoffs nic paul. Cooper is the best coach in the league and all Colorado has to do is beat big cat Vasy four times. Good Luck. GO BOLTS!
Hey pal..why don't you choose other sport ..like chess or indoor hat waving contest ..or bull riding contest…does sport have diferent winners ..now about hockey..if the lighning keep showing up at the final..that means they are good and other clubs try copying them…the lighning is not a one year wonders …they are good year in year out ..thats good for the fans good for the community and good for the owner ..the hardest part of every sport is stay on the top…if you don't like it ..keep it for yourself or get use to it …
