I get it if he’s cheap. We need the cap space for Hanafin, Lindholm, and more, but if Looch takes a minimum deal or close, he’s such a good dude to have here.

At most, I would give him $1mil but anything higher than that I would not resign him as you have guys that you need to resign that are going to cost some money in the future (Lindholm, Backlund, Dube, Hanifin) and the Huberdeau contract also kicks in next year as well.

Not against bringing back Lucic in a depth role at the right cap hit, but no way this needs to be done this early in the season. This should be Stone situation where its a late off season move if they don’t need the cap space for something better.

I can see up to a $1M range as reasonable for what he offers on the ice and in the locker room. Wouldn’t want to see it going much north of $1M per though.
