Considering we are doing well offensively and not so great defensively, this chart basically says they expected us to be somewhat average on offense and really terrible on defense.
I’m really hoping we get some defensemen back soon to help Comrie.

The nice thing about these stats this season is that they don’t feel like pure puck luck. Our offense is legitimately scary and our defense has done pretty admirably considering the guys we’ve had to throw out there

I don’t think this is the stat that you want to be #1 in as a team. BUT – paired with the fact that our PDO isn’t excessively out of order at 102.7, like it was at the start in 2019, but it’s showing that we’re for sure getting a few extra breaks go our way (or the opposition is letting in a few soft ones) at the moment.

They were 4.75 over expectation scores yesterday so it seems like that might explain it? Or am I missing something?
