I was irrationally happy seeing Kakko and Laf get OT time. Kakko especially needs more shifts. He’s born for that type of action

Not too worried about giving Philly a point. Have been watching them play this year.. it’s inspiring, but I don’t see them being a factor in march. You never know with a hot goalie, lundqvist carried worse teams, but I think the division is too deep.
Biggest takeaway i saw tonight was not getting frustrated when it wasnt going in, giving up is pretty easy when you dominate like that and are snake bit all night.
Also IGOR “Get that shit outta here” SHESTERKIN!
I thought we played a defensively sound game tonight except for the very end of regulation. I know we didn’t get tested very much but hopefully they use it as building blocks for future games.
Also even though they had 0 points, Lafrenière and Kakko were noticeably fantastic tonight. Laf in particular could’ve had 3 points with different bounces.
This is the kind of game that the point watchers on r/hockey will use to shit on Laf & Kakko, but they both were REALLY good if you actually watch the game.
Really smart move by Zibanejad on the game winning goal. He saw the flyer shot missed high and wide so it was coming off the boards hard, he then shoved the flyers player on him deeper into the rangers zone so he has enough room to get the puck to Kreider quickly.
I wish Kreider could go back in time and tell 2014 Kreider how to score on a breakaway. We would have a cup
IMHO, Kakko was the best player on the ice tonight. So glad we got the 2 points! LGR!

whoa. what a game! what a win! Both goalies were unbelievable. The amount of shots of the posts, ugh but that’s hockey. I still dont how the Flyers can continue to do this. Kreids breakaway GW was relieving. But, another game, another win = another 2 points. A winning streak, that’s happened before. Find ways to win… on to the Bruins.. LGR
Play the right way and good things will happen. Sometimes. Eventually. That was torture.
I’d say the first 55 mins were as dominant the Rangers have played under GG. The last 5 mins were a bit careless. Trouba and Fox lost the puck with no pressure on them and Igor had to came up huge.
Way too many missed opportunities, but Hart was great. That was otherwise an outstanding performance. The team can sleep easier with that extra point. Nice to see the team keep the win streak going.

This game was similar to sundays game. 2 games in a row sticking to the game plan, playing good d even when the pucks aren’t going in. Kakko should’ve had 4 points tonight

Hard to single out individual players tonight…the entire team generated great chances all game long.
Most positive sign was the kids were great. Laf maybe had his best game of the year…deserved at least one goal. Kakko was a puck magnet who the Flyers couldn’t get the puck off all game.
But I really love what I’m seeing from Braden Schneider the past number of games. I don’t know if he played that much but Sam kept mentioning “and the play broken up by…Braden Schneider” every few mins. Kid’s figuring it out big time.
Relieved the rangers will not partake in no goal November
