As a Tampa fan, these refs absolutely sucked. They called a lot in Tampa's favor. Ottawa was playing sloppier then Tampa I would say, but still it was a tough game the refs should have put the whistles away more. Ottawa looks like a much better team then previous seasons. Great to see Joseph succeed in Ottawa. Go Bolts, they found a way to win
I don’t know what to think as a Lightning fan. On one end, we dominated that game, but we made some really horrible plays that kept the sens in it. We scored 3 beautiful goals (Sergy, Point, and Kuch) but we allowed 3 awful goals (at least 2 are gonna be on Steve’s dang it’s this week). Overall, just happy we got the two points. Also, even though the powerplays were 8-3, the reffing wasn’t nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Sens played very undisciplined and were on defense most of the time, so of course they’re gonna take way more penalties.
