  1. Kyper is fine with criticizing the Leafs until it's his buddy Marner in the firing line. I 👀 you, Kyper.

  2. I watched a documentary on the 1966-1970 Boston Bruins today. It struck me that they as a team struggled for quite a while leading up to these years. It was really interesting to listen to Phil Esposito, Gerry Cheevers, Bobby Orr and Derec Sanderson talk about their team. It was clear, that they were determined to win and if someone took a cheap shot or started a fight there were there for each other, no matter what. If a player decided to go after Bobby Orr they better be ready to hurt as he was not afraid to mix it up either. Those guys not only respected each other, they cared about each other. Years later, Derec Sanderson was fired due to his alcohol problems and Bobby Orr paid for his rehab and went into business with him. Mr. Orr also helped a trainer (I forget the name) who he roomed with in his early days with the Bruins who was dying, and took him into his home for a year, till he died. It says a great deal about Bobby Orr as a human being and his commitment to his teammates. I say all this because I don't see Toronto even with all the talent they have, being a fraction of what the Bruins team was.

  3. Kyper is looking from a players perspective, this team has no heart and no drive. The data does not lie, kids overpaid and immature, also its not 7 games its 7 YEARS

  4. If the stars can't play 22-24 minutes a night and carry your team, Why are you paying them so much money?
This apple cart feels like it's rolling on only two wheels, and the wobble is becoming very noticeable
I didn't know I could roll my eyes as hard as I did when Sam gave an update on Murray

  5. Remember the first 10 games of last season we went 5-4-1 and this season is 4-4-2. I think everyone needs to relax and just let them play.

  6. The problem with kypers "ill decide in 10 days" on the leafs is that it doesn't take 10 more days to know this isn't a cup team. Maybe another 115 pt season, sure, but that's not the goal. It's laughable to think this team has a chance at a cup run. No way.

  7. Great show as said yesterday, have it on at work trying to promote to have it stay on as long as possible.

  8. Marner plays the most minutes on the team, doesn’t seem there is a problem or shouldn’t be one

  9. Why is the brilliant Shanahan ignored…he did select Dubas over Hunter. I wonder how JT really feels about those who coast? I what he thinks about the Country Club atmosphere? I don't get why Marner is a target; the puck is on his stick more than any other Leaf! He's the man on the PP and great on the PK. What has Shanahan or Dubas done to motivate the key players besides making them filthy rich? There is no substitute for heart and passion no matter how talented you maybe! If want to look for inspiration, check out the most talented player in the Edmonton and Colorado! Not only are the top players over paid with no consequence for failure, so too are the GM and Prez. It has always been thus.

  10. Marner needs to grow a pair. He's playing on his hometown team getting paid a kings ransom. Be accountable if you get called out step up own it and keep moving forward. You get benched take it you got a letter on your jersey no tantrum captains take one for the team. Enough drama start playing the way you can

  11. Fox is right their not getting much better than what they are now.

I don’t see it and something just doesn’t feel right on that team and it’s not good.

Two lines is what you got basically.

  12. There is definitely something going on in the dressing room. It’s clear as day. On the faces, body language. They aren’t even breaking sweat when they play. They have been playing pre season like since game 1.

  13. The more you talk the clearer it is that it’s on Dubas. Yet, no one wants to say yes, it’s the GMs fault.
You guys scared of Dubas ?

  14. Guys : got a question for you.
What about Dubas do you think would ever attract another ownership to hire him as their GM ?

  15. Wayne said the first time they played the islanders and lost the Stanley cup, he walked by there dressing room , he said the were spent and beaten because they gave it there all , Wayne realized that was that was the only difference in the two teams they thought it would be a cake walk , it never happened again , leafs need to learn that lesson . Two many million dollar players

  16. Kyper, that’s a fair argument you made regarding Marner concerning the extra ice time he sees. Obviously with that workload coaching is asking too much of him when he is making mistakes because of the extra workload. This is a coaching issue. I also agree with your defence of marner that why not bench holl/matthews/Reilly appropriately. Why does it have to be marner. I think anyone should be benched if it’s called for. But again to your point, if keefe is asking 27 minutes of ice time from marner, you don’t get to bench him in the 3rd when he is a turnover machine. That’s on keefe, not marner. So I’ll retract my criticism of you kyper from yesterdays episode. FYI, out of all the streams, YouTube channels, TV shows, movies, the real kyper and bourne podcast/YouTube is my favourite thing to watch.

  17. Adding Lyubushkin certainly helped. He only made 1.35 mil. He certainly changed the feel to this blueline. Gimme 1 of those and gimme a real 3rd line physical two way center. A replica of Kampf. That’s how Muzzins money needs to be spent. Bring in two guys who play physical and at least put the image of fear into the other team. At least make them think they will get hit when playing against this team.

  18. The problem is Millennials plan and simple. Look at Mitch Marner for example, he’s probably been told he’s amazing all his life, never held accountable because oh Mitch is amazing. Has his daddy fight his battles until little Mitchy gets everything he wants. Now he’s called out and he doesn’t know how to handle it. Stop giving this kids participation awards, they are okay with losing because they are awarded for it!!! Plan and simple.

  19. Honestly from á non leaf fan that lives in the GTA I watch all their games , I've believed they are over rated and not as good as people think , they got two great lines and that's it … Reilly shouldn't be manning the pp so I say number 1 trade one of their stars for a puck moving defenseman!!! Just my opinion ..also I am a Habs fan but would love any Canadian team to win the cup including Toronto!!!

  20. Good morning boys love the show what the leafs need is a Gm Like John Tortorella to keep media in this city at bay give the boys a chance only 10 games in .we finally have some hometown superstars and all the media can do is bash them therefore creating an identity that no hometown superstars would play here.😢

  21. Watching them play makes me wonder if Matthews is not already thinking of his next contract with another team, he seems to be tired of the Leafs drama and in the end it affects the whole team. Also they need more D men that are D men.
