I have never seen a more chickenshit team than these leafs. Tackling people when they aren’t looking because freddie mercury got bumped.
Damn felix still stopped what, 40? It’s so sad that we fall apart on back to backs. He deserves a win 🥺
The sad truth is this current lineup really doesn’t have much talent.
The effort is there, and it’s been a pretty tough schedule to start the year and they’re 5-5.
Today was probably hopeless on back end of back-to-back against an angry leafs team on the road and needing to start Sandstrom. But still created some good scoring chances and kept it interesting.
Hopefully as the schedule eases up a little we can see continued effort and some improvement and put up a lot more wins over the next frw weeks.
Team is bad. Let’s continue to extend the players on this bad team.

Fuck the Leafs
I’m impressed with Tippetts play so far, good hustle. Moves up the ice with pace. Looks a bit lost once he gains the zone but I’m hoping he figures that out.
We are still very bad in the neutral zone and look panicked in the corners with possession (usually leading to turnovers).
Hayes looks dialed in. Still inconsistent trying to get goals (that’s just who he is at this point), but is one of the few forwards that looks to create higher danger shots.
Konecny really needs someone to set him up but looks fast and is chirpy.
Solid L vs a contender on a back to back with sandstorm in net. For team tank it was good. Hope Fletcher is taking notes on team problems and not just ignoring self inflicting ones.
I’d love to see Tippett score 20+ this year, definitely would be nice to have at least 1 young guy turn into a legit scorer. TK really taking his game to a new level as well.
Going to be hard to win games against teams who have their star players playing well this year, all we can hope for is consistently hard working efforts, and to not rack up too many standing points in games where we are dominated.
Was at the game tonight. Hard to accept the fact that there’s next to no talent on this team. Really liked Tippett and Konecny tonight.
Let’s be real, this is what we kinda expected for the year apart from the goaltending (better than expected for me personally even despite this past game, I swear Sandstrom pissed this team off somehow). It’s a young team and not any real offensive weapons. Just the way it is. Quite the “retool” right? Thanks Fletcher….
Maybe we can finally talk about what this team is without the fair-weather fans passing by and downvoting?
Regardless of the questionable usage, this team doesn’t have the talent to play a modern offensive system. They beat a few teams early on with some fluky plays and early season breakdowns in front of a Vezina caliber stretch from Hart.
They have a better defensive structure, but they will lose 90% of their remaining games if they keep posting sub-40% GF.
