If you listen to todayâs VanCast Farhan made the observation that after JT coughed up the puck at the end to Jack Hughes for the empty netter, that JT didnât even move, didnât leave the zone at allâŠ..didnât make any attempt (even though it probably wouldnât have made a difference) to go after Jack Hughes.
I actually think they miss Scott Walker on the bench, as a bit of a counter balance to Bruce Boudreau. Scott Walker brought an intimidating pit bull like presence, and I think he would be a good âbad copâ.
He made Torts look like Ned Flanders.
It’s weird, Green tried to implement a more structured game especially around the defensive play last year and it was a tire fire.
Bruce, at Rutherford’s request, is trying to get the team to play with more structure especially around the defensive play. It’s a tire fire again.
It’s like these guys can’t handle playing a structured responsible game.
Been saying this since last season before they fired green. Things haven’t changed.
It’s not the coach. It’s not management. It’s just a core of lazy players who treat job of playing hockey like a career to make an income not a career to win a championship.
