Buffalo wins the lottery second time in four years and it’s a righteous feel good story. Rangers win it for the first time in a half a century it’s a fix , a travesty and THEY change the system!!
Buffalos problem isnt which players they have, its the whole organization. Its not a pleasant place to be. Countless times weve seen players that struggled in buffalo leave and suddenly start playing so much better.
Whoever is picked by the Sabres is doomed.

On June 21, Terry and Kim Pegula will agree to sell the Buffalo Sabres to Quebecor president and CEO Pierre Karl Peledau for $800 million. On June 25, the Pegulas' deal to sell the Sabres to Pierre will be finalized. On July 6, Pierre and NHL commissioner Gary Bettman will hold a press conference at Videotron Centre in Quebec City to announce the completion of a deal to purchase the Sabres. On July 20, the NHL's Board of Governors will approve the sale and relocation of the Sabres in a unanimous vote. On July 23, the soon-to-be revived Quebec team will select Owen Power 1st overall from Michigan in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Next season, the Sabres will relocated to Quebec City after 51 seasons in Buffalo to become the revived Quebec Nordiques, begin play at Videotron Centre and become the 1st NHL team to relocate since the Atlanta Thrashers relocated to Winnipeg to become the revived Winnipeg Jets in 2011.
