Totally agree. Tage is a legit super star. It's not just how he scores his goals either, even though he does a pretty good Matthews and McDavid impression at times. It's how strong he is on the puck and how he uses his body to make it impossible for people to take it away from him as he builds speed. He's also fearless – Tage will run into 3 defenders and still find a way to make a play out of it. A 6 foot 6 center with high skill, soft hands, exceptional awareness and high hockey IQ is destined to be a top 10 player in the NHL.
The fact that Buffalo has 2 out of the top 10 players in the NHL is not an accident.
Also, that Eichel trade is making Buffalo look like they fleeced Vegas.
The Sabres still have 4 first round picks and Devon Levi who will be eventually added to their lineup.
We have 2 high scoring explosive teams here in WNY to watch. Great time to be a Buffalo sports fan!
I can say they are a playoff contender but the question still is will they keep up this momentum the whole entire season. Because the past couple seasons when they went off to a hot start it just dives down and they cannot figure out their game anymore. So is this year really the year or is it just another normal collapse
