OMG! I actually couldn’t believe what I saw last night, at first! I thought maybe a veteran cup team was going to hammer us for our lack of experience but it really shows the mindset and training Granato is giving them is working!

I agree with what Henrik Lundqvist said after the game. He was smiling and stoked for the Sabres but said we will be seriously legit if we can just clean up our defense. We give away too many chances 5 on 5 but our offense is solid. I feel like this is correct.

Wayne, I also have to recommend the interview with Granato from yesterday on YouTube with The Athletic Hockey Show. I know you will love it. He goes even deeper with what he is trying to do on a daily basis. He talks about not trying to win each game at all costs, but making steps to build a team that will win in the playoffs!

Great job Wayne! This was the best win yet because of the character required to get it. These boys are proving that all they need is 10 minutes to get ahead and put teams down! The fans will come back as their pain goes away.
I didn't think they could pull it off with those white pants, glad to be wrong! The standings look crazy right now, Avs, Panthers, Caps, Leafs, Blues all below the red line right now.
Buffalo is averaging 4.3 goals per game, which is just absurd. Four different players at or above a point per game, and Olofsson is right there with 9 points in 10 games. Scoring is crazy.
Wayne , the sabres are a highly skilled and fast young team . Need to get the 3 defensemen back soon. Thompson is becoming a super star . I still think we need some muscles to really compete. If you haven’t watched this young guys play , you’re are missing out on a great show .

That first Olofsson goal… Power showed why he's highly touted… what a move… that move left Victor with nothing but net.
Say it quietly but I think Buffalo's got a team. What a great fun game that was. Seeing Girgenson chase the icing to set up the empty net showed how much they want to be great this year. I must also give a nod to the retro uniform as I've always liked all white kits, they look so sharp and really popped on the Sabres even though I was initially dubious. 😋 It feels odd watching them go behind and not fearing a drubbing. Long may it continue! 😊 Super impressed by the Sabres and the young Devils too, nice to see some struggling teams shaking the tree to shake loose the old boys like Pittsburgh etc.
Buffalo fans is there any wins out there better than beating the Penquins? They owned us for so many years – now we must take down Carolina, Tampa, Florida & Boston AND MY YEAR WILL BE COMPLETE
