  1. Smith asked to be traded on Family Fest and now says he was surprised he was traded. Watch what you ask for…

  2. I love the optimism that you people are saying but you're not looking at the big picture in picture in the optics behind this agents are going to look at that players are going to look at that I come to this team work my butt off but when it's time to get paid we're just gonna trade you a move on

  3. The Bears have way too many Hall of Fame players already. Lance Briggs and Peanut Tillman should be added eventually. Bear management with an eye to the future decided to give the Baltimore Ravens another addition in that Ohio building. The powers that be decided to take parity inside so every team will have more than just a measley one or two representatives. There could be more of this fair player number as eventually every team will have the same number of players in that hallowed hall in Canton. I can't wait for that day to arrive.

  4. This guy spittting facts. We're definitely worse right now, but looking better for the future. The defense is garbage, but we can rebuild a defense. This season is all about developing Fields.

  5. Smith is not Ray Lewis, Mike Singletary, Brian Urlacher or even Lance Briggs! Lose now, build to the future and don't look back with Fields throwing to Claypool, Mooney, Montgomery.

  6. This is what we get for having a noob GM who had no strategy before the season started in regards to Quinn and smith and even getting Justing wr help or oline help ….poles waited until mid season to get worst value for smith and Quinn shows he is not good GM and so desperate to get wr help to give away second rounder on a project player is desperation…free agency and draft is dry for wr and he just realized it now …wow ….start holding him accountable..

  7. He wasn't playing good enough he's only leading the league in tackles

  8. Was upset but now extremely happy with our position….providing that what they say about lb position isn’t as important in this scheme ( don’t necessarily agree but we’ll see). WR in draft, ol first round, free agent ol ( Brown)? DL Free agent? Edge free agent ? Looking great , and do t concur about dolphins killing us either; game is played and schemed by humans, not stats. Football above any other sport , chemistry is the most important thing…..

  9. Kevin white…Kevin White. 2015 .first round..7th pick over all. A complete bust. And stop saying he was hurt. I get. But chicago is not know for drafting good offensive players.

  10. AFC is stacked Baltimore, Miami, Bolts, K.C., Bills and Cincy.

  11. Haven't heard a lot of people mention this but Mooney & Claypool will have rookie deals ending at the same time after next season. You wonder if both will end up competing to be WR2 as the Bears likely need to draft a WR1 either this upcoming draft or the following one

  12. I’m kinda scratching my head at the Roquan Smith trade. If their is to develop Fields more, you have to get the ball in his hands. The only way to keep doing that is to get defensive stops, and the only way to do that is to keep guys like Smith on the roster. A leading tackler, still has a lotta years left in him. Pay the man! I think letting that kinda player out also may send a bad message to the locker room about high-level performance going unrewarded, esp in key positions. I hope it pans out.

  13. Roquan is a good LB…not an elite one. He held out. Twice. For him to say that he was surprised doesn't seem genuine.

BTW, wasn't he involved in a controversy over the summer that mysteriously got buried?
