Where’s Ridley Grieg?…….. couldn’t we use him? And are we gonna move Alex Formenton or sign him!….he’s sitting idol and we need quality players…… wtf Ottawa?….
He’s starting Forsberg… again. Jesus Christ! The guy is gonna fall apart after facing 92 shots in his last two games. I’d play Hellberg tonight, and I’d play him again on Saturday unless he’s absolutely brutal against Vegas. Or if Talbot is ready to go against Philly, play him. Forsberg NEEDS and deserves a game or two off.
Edit: Forsberg has played every game except ONE so far this season. I’m sure that 9:1 ratio (9 after tonight) will adjust when Talbot returns, but Hellberg did ok in his one game here. Why is DJ too scared to use him?
Early season math is fun, cuz with Talbot out, Forsberg is on pace to play 72+ games lol.
Scratch Zaitsev and call up someone reliable or even half decent. Call up someone from the AHL to replace Norris and replace Zaitsev please
Not expecting a win tonight against a true contender, but we NEED to play better. Tighten up defensively and generate more chances. We're not going to keep scoring 3+ goals on 15 shots. That last couple games have been abysmal.
I was preaching patience off the teams slow start to the season, but this team needs to start performing or DJ should get replaced before the 20 game mark. Even with Norris and Zub out, this team has enough talent to at least not get laughed out of the arena. The last couple games have been TOUGH TO WATCH.
What exactly does DJ do around here? He can’t ask the GM to call anyone up? He’s over working forsberg and Chabot? He’s defensive structure screams “we’ve tried nothing and don’t know why”

Stop playing Zeitsev, he is not struggling huge time, bring in Ridley Greg to replace for Josh Noris and Lassie Thompson replace for Zeitsev, Zeitsev suck

Feels like the season is over already. Same shi* different pile! This team is operating at about 65% of its potential. Forsberg has played well but let’s in backbreaking goals at crucial times. Sign Formenton or trade him, Cut Chabot‘s minutes he’s dreadful! Zaitsev eating up a spot that JBD or Thomson should have and need to have. We need a new coach plain and simple. So sick of the excuses and him talking up other teams. We are not going to have success until he’s gone.
