The real solution is a trainer and nutritionist to help him put on about 20lbs of muscle.

It’s probably the right decision. Just a week maybe two. He’s played 28 minutes of hockey and we’re 11 games into the season. It’s not punishment it’s just to allow him to get back in the rhythm of playing hockey

This reminds me so much of Eric Lindros. I lost count on the head injuries from him but it cut his career so fast because it was hit after hit after hit

This article mentions recalling Othmann during this “conditioning stint” which isn’t possible. He’s been loaned to Flint until their season ends.

there is little benefit to him or us. It’s still hockey, the Rangers also do not have a winger better than him to put there.

Bulk it up! That’s what I thought about Buch for a long time. Gotta be big in pro sports

Yes, I brought this up earlier in the week. If he were to accept it, I think it would be a really smart move. It would demonstrate a lot of commitment on his part while giving him a chance to get some rhythm and confidence that has so far been impossible for him to establish.

The AHL is rougher than the NHL, probably wouldn’t be the best outcome
