It’s probably the right decision. Just a week maybe two. He’s played 28 minutes of hockey and we’re 11 games into the season. It’s not punishment it’s just to allow him to get back in the rhythm of playing hockey

This reminds me so much of Eric Lindros. I lost count on the head injuries from him but it cut his career so fast because it was hit after hit after hit

Yes, I brought this up earlier in the week. If he were to accept it, I think it would be a really smart move. It would demonstrate a lot of commitment on his part while giving him a chance to get some rhythm and confidence that has so far been impossible for him to establish.
