VGK played some good hockey up until scoring the 5th goal, that's when they probably became too convenient…. Glad they started to at least defend well again after conceding the 4th goal, next time they should avoid making the game dramatic again though!
That's 6 in a row now and the chemistry on the team is on point! 5 more to go for Kessel to become the 1st NHL player in history to play 1000 games in a row! Fingers crossed!
The Sens played a rough first but played great with the exception of a bit of trouble breaking out all game but the refs ruined a great game. At least they let them play the last 10-15mins.
This game was a roller coaster. Seemed like we had a comfortable position being up 5-1, but then the anxiety started coming as we allowed three goals for it to be 5-4, but thankfully Thompson made 42 saves to hang on and get us the win ⚔️. However next game and for the rest of the season if we have a huge lead like that we can’t go to sleep and witness a scare from the other team defense still has to keep fighting.
VGK got away with the skin of their teeth on that one. As a fan, I'm glad they bagged the points, though. They got way too comfortable after the Ottawa's goalie change and it almost cost them. Hats off to Ottawa for not giving up despite the early deficit.

Why do they always put the overturning decision BEFORE they show the goal. No that doesnt make sense and makes highlights hard to follow

At the end of the day..we won the game…in regulation. Can’t be mad at that.
Well Talbot didn't allow a goal and we almost had 50 shots. Those are positives!

I was there, the atmosphere in the second half of the second and the third was insane. Too bad the Sens came up just short of the comeback
