What a mess
If Bo and Kuz keep this up, that Miller contract is going to be a killer. Even at the start of the season, I would have rather kept the first 2 over JT, but here we are. Our loss could be someone else’s gain. Brutal.

Entertaining, fun, and stressful are the only words I can describe this game. Also Horvat is a beast right now, 3 straight multi goal games and up to 10 goals already. Congratulations to Kuzmenko on his first career hat trick!

Great game EP40! Memo to Kuz : da da da! And very enjoyable experience seeing Bieksa retire a Canuck. He was a class act on and off the ice. I still recall being at the Railway on Dunsmuir, seeing the stanchion goal but not being entirely sure what the Hell happened. It took, it seemed, almost 3 minutes before they replayed the goal so we could process what had happened. That was an excellent memory!

Kuzmenko has showed us since day 1 that his game translated well to the NHL. He's gonna demand a hefty contract which we dont have space for.
We have two quality centers in JT Miller and Pettersson already, which we can't move.
Horvat's value is sky high right now and we can add some great pieces for our defense, penalty kill, and potentially get rid of some bad contracts. We wouldn't be able to resign Horvat at what he's showing he's worth.
Obviously we have to see if all these still hold true at the deadline but I don't really see it changing drastically.
That looked like goaltender interference. He ran into the goalie and actually twisted him around in the crease. The ducks had to challenge that. So instead of being down 2-3, they give up a power play goal and are down 2-5. Brutal.

Every game I think the Ducks' defense can't get any worse and then it does.
