The look on Claude's face says it all. This team badly needs defensemen, they still haven't added much depth since Karlsson was traded. Relied too much on Chabot and now he's struggling. Not good.
Hate to see Giroux put up a performance like that, but still lose. He played a great game. The team needs to tighten up defensively (Zub coming back in a few games will help A LOT). However, Vegas is a top-tier team, and I won't pretend like this team is a contender. I expect them to be competitive every night, and for the first time in a few games, they were actually competitive. They outshot the competition, and played pretty well overall. Love the comeback effort, even if they fell a bit short. This team has the skill to compete every night, and hopefully they start to win a few more.
