I’m curious as to how different this game would have been with Jordan Davis being able to be in the rotation. I think from here on out, we’ll be getting everyone’s best and we need to be ready. You have to pick your poison against the eagles and with them playing to stop the big deep ball, it was easy to know Goedert was going to feast today. So thankful for him. Also…Im sure each game Cam Jurgens is realizing the monumental shoes he’s got to fill when Kelce retires.

Was a short week on the road. To me the 2nd half they pumped the brakes on defense on the Texans. That one fumble hurt when hurst got hit, they would of scored that drive. Overall, they found the way to win playing just ok.
You have to put it into perspective. It was a short week….only 4 days to prep with no practice. Take that into consideration while we're doing all this complaining. That has to be tough on the body. How often do you see a game like that from the OLine? Mailata especially?

Truth is the run defense has been spotty all szn. Davis being out does make a difference but Pierce was going to have a good night regardless. Tackling and run support should be the focus going forward. Experiment single high safety with CGJ an plug Dean as the MLB if you have to.

If we be real it was bad run defense and besides that misque on the snap which led to the fumble that was another touchdown I believe we was in control offensively easily you can tell we were better and on cruise control the whole time look at the time possession

Shows how valuable Jordan Davis truly is this freshman season…he's only gonna get better with experience. I love how resilient we are and the fact that our defense allows for a slight margin for error on offense. It allows us to stay in our game plan.

My take away from this game: Gannon still remains as the teams most glaring weakness, easily. Houston's QB sucks. They shouldn't have had such an easy time running on us. Make that QB beat us. You saw the mistakes he made late in the game. Tackling is clearly the second biggest issue, as we are one of the league's worst in that area.
