I sat in Club level for this game and lost my voice. I purchased a puck that night as a Souvenir.

For resting their #1 goalie on the front half of a back-to-back while haven’t lost in regulation yet, that was the night when the Habs…

I sat at l Marcella’s eating lasagna with my girlfriend after I gave my tickets to a dad and his daughter for free. I like to tell myself that the good karma played a role in at least one of the assists. 😊

Don’t forget, they actually scored 11 goals. One was overturned for being « kicked » in. I sat in 107K, iirc. Still mind-blowing that game happened

I was there! I need to dig up my old box of paper tickets and make a collage or something.

The game that broke Dave Lozo’s brain. He took this so personally and for the rest of that season he’d say « they only have a good goal differential because they put up 10 on a bad Al Montoya night » What an ass. I don’t miss him in the hockey coverage sphere at all.

The chants started half seriously at we want 6, full on meme tier at we want 10 and then it happened. Building exploded, it was so surreal. Almost felt bad about it but damn if it wasn’t fun hearing them make a dent in their stock of cannon charges in one night.

This was the year I decided to truly get in to hockey. I had tried in the last but couldn’t stay interested in long enough. So I decided to start going to games that year. By myself, because nobody else I knew would give the sport a chance.
The 2nd game I attended that year was this game. Needless to say, since this game I have been a huge CBJ fan.
