Not sure what was worse tonight, the refs or the announcers

Welp, that was incredibly frustrating.

Well the boys should be ready to go tomorrow, because they dog fucked it tonight.

This one hurt. I think they showed the experience and not necessarily their skill. They fought hard, but Carolina is a good team in a good system. We had some chances. And looked good.
The next test is Tampa tomorrow and Vegas next week.

Not going to win them all. This game really highlighted our defensive injuries considering that Fitz – Pilut was out for almost all the goals against. At least we looked like we can hang with the good teams.

That was tough, we came out strong but Carolina survived our attack put the shields up in the 3rd and suffocated us, they are a good team, sucks we couldn’t win, onto Tampa

Hey guys. On a good note… well, I’m sure something good happened today.

Carolina plays the most boring lamest style of hockey of all time. Watching Tage, Dahlin, etc. dangling sniping and cellying is infinitely better even if we lose

“Oh no! We suck again!”

The Sabres could not handle how aggressive the Canes play in the offensive zone. Everytime the Sabres thought they had space it was gone almost immediately. The Canes were the better team.

If you’re looking for someone to bitch about officiating and the broadcast, I’m sure there will be a billion other comments for you to enjoy.
Not to go full moral victory, but this was alright in my eyes. They hung around with arguably the best team in the East and one of the best teams in the league. This wasn’t like the Seattle game at all. A healthy Boosh and Samuelsson is maybe the difference to stifle some of those breakaway opportunities.
And I don’t care about the faceoff stats tonight. The Avs were one of the worst faceoff teams in the league last year and it didn’t seem to bother them.

Playoff hockey. Sabres needs those kind of games to learn

I’ll put 40% blame on this game on the refs in the first period, and the rest on the sabres. Canes celebration is cringey. So glad Dahlin scored and pissed off their goalie, he sucked tonight anyway. Now to steamroll the static electricity.
