    Slim to none. The hitting has wilted with 4 games left. Bat Kyle behind Bryce but Thomson won't. Hoskins needs to go

    I think we need a lineup change for game 6 because of Castellanos’ struggles. We need to move Harper up to 3 and then maybe put JT at 4. Harper is your best hitter your best hitter needs to be 3

    Look at the path they took to get here. There have been several games where we though it wasn't their night. With the Phillies anything is possible.

    Honestly though, the Astros pitching is just insane. Even Harper has been pretty crappy. 1 homer and 1 double. .250 in the World Series. Schwarber has been the hardest out. Gotta tip a cap, when pitching is this good, everyone will look bad.

    It would be fitting how unpredictable the Phillies can be when everyone counts them out that they would win these last 2 games. Unlikely but not impossible. I just want to see a game 7 because anything can happen in a game 7 and baker has a shaky reputation in the postseason

    If the Phillies can get at least 5 or 6 shutout inns from Zack W they can force a game 7.

    As an Astros fan in Houston for 30 years listen carefully: "of course they have a chance." This is baseball. We came back to Houston for the last two games with the Nationals and they whooped up on us and took it away! Don't give up! I was sure we'd be be facing Dodgers or maybe Atlanta. The Phillies are giant killers. If not this year, then very soon. You all should be very proud, regardless.

    I think it has more to do with the Astros elite pitching than the Phillies bats slumping. The Astros do this to everybody. The way to beat them is to play great defense and little ball

    The Philadelphia Phillies were the worst team of the entire 2022 postseason and got hot and lucky as they reached the World Series representing the National League. Their opponents representing the American League who are the Houston Astros were the best team in the American League.
    The Phillies benefited from an expanded MLB playoff bracket and it landed them into the record books by getting no hit.
    Last years Braves won four straight division championships after a mediocre first half and ended up winning the World Series.
    The Braves were and still are a great team as opposed to this Phillies team that's consistently struggled to simply be above five hundred the last several years.
    This Phillies team can best be compared to the 2007 Rockies that reached the World Series and got eliminated in an ugly way. Like that Rockies team the Phillies had no business playing an elite team in the World Series. Phillies fans bought a bag of garbage 😆

    First the catch by McCormick was not all that great, it was a good catch that half the center fielders in baseball easily make, off the bat I thought he didn't get all of it, Hoskins was awful he and Nola are killing them, really. Here is the thing you got Zack going, right he and Nola look gassed but he has gotta dig down here, and he could, I say he will, but will they score.

    the big difference from 2019 astros and 2022 astros is the bullpen. thats what has the astros in this spot. the 18 inning game at seattle proves how dominant their staff is. thats the biggest difference between these 2 teams, 2nd biggest difference is the defense. the offenses are about evenly matched.

    Washington had strasburg and scherzer!

    Astros fan here. Y’all are a great team y’all really surprised me. I would not be surprise if y’all win y’all’s division next year. It should be great game 6 tomorrow. Let the best team win.

    Wheeler will help the Astros to a world series victory. Nola and Wheeler are not true Ace s. Castellones is and has been killing the line up. The Phillies do not hit enough this goes down as being the worst series in Phillies history

    Game 5 was the most competitive & entertaining of the series so far. Both teams had scoring opportunities, shut down by good pitching. The Astros made 2 outstanding defensive plays, the Phils only 1 – the strike out / throw out stealing attempt. The Hoskins error will long be remembered badly if they lose the series. As a Phils fan, I'm hopeful Wheeler throws a gem tomorrow & we take it to game 7. Won't be easy – that Valdez will be tough on our lefty bats. They need to avoid the double-digit strikeouts, approach to use the middle of field, small ball, keep the lineup moving. As for Hoskins long-term, he's streaky as a homer threat, hasn't hit at a high average since his rookie year, falls behind in counts continually, too vulnerable to swing at low & outside pitches, way too many strikeouts, & a seriously below average defender. But they haven't much choice other than a trade – Derrick Hall is similar – a streaky homer threat, low batting average, high strikeout, below average defender, just left handed. Both would be better suited as DH's but the Phils already have Bryce, JT, Kyle, Nick that could or should do it. Hate to say it – but they should consider to move on from Segura also, 34 yrs old & injury prone. Still gives some clutch hits but the average & power are on a downward trend over the last 3 years.

    Hey, they've done great to be where they are now, do I think they can win two games in Houston, well, I wouldn't bet money on them, saying that, they Do have the players to do this, so hang in with them, and whatever you do, do Not say that the Phillies Suck, they've gotten to a game six in the World Series, how many of you thought this would happen just a month ago, saying all of that, "Let's Go Phillies".

    I just hope this team can get back to the WS in the near future. If their minor leagues pitchers turn out to be as good as everyone thinks they are, then we might have a good chance.
