Love this video. Quinton Byfield is the PERFECT fit for the LA Kings. I’m a Kings fan, Malkin is my favorite player and they’re playing styles are very similar. What I’m hoping for LA is for them to get one of Luke Hughes or Owen Power. They need their top lottery pick defensman for the future & this draft is the perfect draft to get their defenseman. Even if it’s Brandt Clarke, I’ll take it. If LA tanks in 2022 (which should be the final yr of the rebuild) if by a miracle they land Shane Wright, LA has a Crosby/Malkin 2.0 duo with Wright & Byfield in the making. But back to Byfield, the kid has the right attitude, I think he’s gonna play with a chip on his shoulder because of the Lafreniere hype he dealt with all yr at Sudbury and how ppl kept saying Stutzle should’ve been the guy at #2. Plus he is months younger than those guys so better for LA & he is really fast for his height. I like that the Kings aren’t rushing him because they don’t really need him this season so why waste a yr of his ELC. They’re developing him right, he’s putting on weight so I expect him to be big time for LA.

Men Byfield game last night was gold. He show insane skill ! Can't wait to see the kids (kaliev, Turcotte, and others) bump players like Brown, etc. The king's won't have offensive issues no more. They do need a better goalie and to figure out the dcore

I don't think people know how much the Kings are really liked in Los Angeles. Hockey fans love the team and the rivalry with the Ducks is really great. I never had so much excitement when the Kings one the Cup in 2012 and 2014. Just amazing how the city was so united and had so much camaraderie.
i don't think Byfield will ever live up to his draft position
I hate that “Hockey” Fans say that other races can play hockey, I want more diversity in the NHL, Byfield gets called a bust or basketball talent for being black, I think Byfield will be a great player.
