Anybody know where to get this hat Zetterlund is wearing? Nico had the same one on Thursday

  3. kyletres

  4. daaniielle

not even close to our best game as a whole i thought, but they are finding ways to win. speaks volume to how something is just different in this team this year! LGD keep it rolling boys

  5. nubmonk

  6. DEVILSHOLIC

Am i the only one that is kinda worried about the potential downward spiral soon?

  7. HeadHighSauce26

  8. Internetter1

    That’s 1/3 of last year’s wins in 12 games

  9. Killamaniax

Flames are legit going to come out swinging even harder on Tuesday.

Shut them down in our house and let’s get some more hits.

The Devils are playing some really incredible hockey. Tonight didn’t seem like their night kinda from the drop. The Flames dominated the play for minutes on end. Neutral zone passing was often sloppy, but we were able to win the 3rd (diminished) and 4th (emphasized) minutes throughout. We made some opportunistic plays early and were able to stick around and grind out both possible points. Strong OT win.

Hopefully the boys can rest up after a game that looked shaky and slow at times. I’ll attend at least one game in the next week, if not more than one. They’ve earned it.

Ok. What are we doing to make sure we don’t get ragdolled again by Calgary on Tuesday?

Do we need to change up our zone entry strategy? Do we need to cycle the puck more in the offensive zone? I liked our defense for the most part those last two periods but our transition game and offense fell flat.

Love proudly wearing my Devils shit in public. I mean ive done it the last decade anyways but now I actually have a reason to lol

Love how this road trip tested the team in different ways and they were able to respond to each challenge.

Missing their legs in Vancouver but sticking to their systems and making the most of their opportunities.

Facing a team just as fast as them in Edmonton and overcoming an injury and deficit in the 3rd to pull off a comeback.

And then tonight, up against one of the most physical teams they’ll have to play in Calgary and holding off a comeback attempt to get a win in OT.

As fun as this streak is I definitely have been tempering my expectations for the season, but this road trip has made me fully believe in what this team is capable of doing. I mean a 3 game win streak felt like distant dream the past few seasons and now they’re rolling 6 straight. Nobody take this for granted.

  16. Anyone local better be showing up at the Rock Tuesday to support this team.

Shout out to Vitek Vanecek. Before this season I had him for two years straight in fantasy leagues that weigh wins much more heavily than GA and SV%/Saves. The fundamental truth that I learned about him while he was in Washington is that this man is a gamer.

    He wins hockey games.

Not thrilling. Not flashy. Relatively infrequent shutouts. But if you give him a team with some defensive structure, a reasonable early lead, he just. fucking. wins. hockey. games.

And I love him for it!

  18. MartysBetter29

Lindy said they need more finishing on PP and decided to put Z on one side and Shar on the other. Hope they do that on Tuesday

  19. iamtheprodigy

The BeefMW line really carried us on this road trip. If you know, then you know.

  20. unspokenunheard

We’re the hottest team in Western Canada, bb

  21. Brattshandles

I keep feeling like I need to temper my expectations, and then we keep winning. When’s the last time we took 9 out of 10 games?

  22. Top_Ad7068

When’s the last time we won 6 straight ?

  23. kyletres

What makes this W even more sweeter is that Almost every other team in the metro lost tonight. Great to stack wins while the rest of the division stacks losses

  24. I’m not used to checking post game threads on opposing teams’ subs and reading things like « NJ is legit ». It feels wrong.

  25. BitchAssWaferCookie

    Guys this is nuts

    Red Wings beat Isles

    ARIZONA BEAT CAPS

Tampa beat Buffalo w/o going overtime

Flyers beat Ottawa w no Overtime

    Seattle beat Pitts!

    Kings beat Florida

Also ya’ll gotta check out the Calgary shots map on Moneypuck, it is fantastic

  26. chefboleson

tickets purchased, this squad deserves a packed house and a standing O at puck drop tuesday

  27. Franzblau

The game probably shouldn’t have been so close after the 1st period we played, but getting the W is still really sweet. The team continues to exceed expectations.
