  1. Maldonado also was a thorn on tbe Yankees side too. A .194 hitter who took his walks and got hits when he led off an inning against the Yankees.

  2. Hey phillies and yankees fans stop booing your Team players and other people if you're gonna be a sore loser stop showing up at games it's just a game Lisa can say Cardinal's and astro fans are the most respectful people was respectful people in the MLB community Hope nobody gets offended I don't care lol

  3. Astros fan here. What you did was special and I applaud you. I went to games 1 and 2 and your fans were so nice and respectful at our games. I know it sucks to loose, been there. You guys have a bright future. We, the Astros are in a magical time…I wish you that same experience some day.

  4. As an Astros fan, I wasn't sure why Wheeler was pulled either. He was pitching REALLY well. He had a good pitch count too.

  5. Phillies have nothing to be ashamed of. That Astros pitching staff is legitimately historically great. The stats don't lie. As a Rangers fan, I don't enjoy saying it, but it is what it is.

Phillies fans and the staff at the bank shouldn't hang their heads either. Aside from a few drunk fans being rude to Houston's living patron saint, Mattress Mack, y'all conducted yourselves with the right mix of hard-assedness that the city is known for, and a surprising amount of class.

  6. The Astros are in a different level than the Phillies. They were lucky to win any against Astros. Just enjoy the fact that you made it there!!!! You won't be there anytime soon!! Houston will be back next year.

  7. As an Astros fan for 33 years my respect to the Phillies team but definitely not to the fans. Fans are trash like LA and NY. Welcome to the list of trash fans. Shows you no matter how loud and obnoxious you are if your talent isn’t there you won’t win. The better team will always win.

  8. 30 for 30 on the fan who created the Phillie's curse for talking smack to Mattress Mack. Phillies went 0-3 since then……

  9. The Maldy at bat, yes he was within the rules. Why pitch up and in, when the call should have been low and in? Un hittable, a bad call from the catcher. Thats why the Astros are better. Go Stros! I love the opponents whine!

  10. Astros fan here ! Phillies fans
Are way better than October Choking
Dodgers fans Yankees fans ! 👍🇺🇸

  11. Congratulations to Dusty Baker for his first well deserved title! Almost was hired as Phil's manager too!

  12. Those Phillies are scary and a great baseball team. It’s the Stros year and nothing to be ashamed of. You played at the big stage against the best team

  13. The Phillies are fantastic baseball team. They impressed me from the wild card series all the way to the World Series. You guys got nothing to be ashamed of. He will be back

  14. "That's close to being a strike, that pitch." 😄 You guys JUST said "He's got his toes on the line." The chalk line of the batter's box is WAY off the plate. If Maldonado knew it was coming inside, Realmuto, as a fellow catcher, should've known that too and called a slider in the dirt. Maldonado swings at those all the time.

  15. This Phils team in many ways reminded me of the 2005 Astros and the World Series they played against the Sox. The Phils weren’t supposed to be here, took a 2-1 lead against an all time team, and simply fell short even with their flaws. The only at bats I was petrified from were Schwarber, Harper, and Bohm. Similar to 05 where we it was Biggio, Bagwell, and Berkman. You guys slayed so many giants, and I hope to god we don’t play you again next year.

  16. Lifelong Phillies fan here but Astros deserved the trophy, hell of a ball club…congrats!

  17. 42 years ago the Phillies broke the Astros heart. That was a great NLCS then. This was a great World Series because the Phillies just never quit. Wheeler was on it tonight. Keep your heads up.

  18. Met fan here – congrats to the Phillies. Winning a pennant in a year when you were nowhere in May? Helluva run, helluva year. Hold your heads high.

  19. As long as there are players from that disgraceful 2017 WS on their team, the Astros can go burn in Hell. Once a cheater always a cheater.

  20. I am sure glad we didn’t go to game 7
My 84 yr old mother said
Phillies have some gladiators hitting that ball.
Best WS I’ve seen Astros play.
This was a very very tough team to beat..

  21. The Astros took it personal when certain restaurants refused to serve them. But in all seriousness what a great run

  22. The Phillies are a great team, no doubt. But, the Astros were simply better. Some times the best team really wins.

  23. Like Kramer from Seinfeld said don't be crowding the plate. Should have backed him off with one right past his nose.

  24. No one can explain to me to any level of satisfactory, or of intellect how a team who hit five home runs in one game can't even get a hit in the two following games. Philadelphia is made up of losers whether you're talking about politics or whether you're talking about sports no matter how many times Philadelphia teams lose fans are so delusional and needing a sense of happiness that they will follow them maybe it's a distraction from their own lives? I'm so tired of waiting for a championship team most people live their lives and die never having a championship team the owners don't put out money for great players the whole time the world series was being played did we get one black player or Cuban player that got to hit the ball? I truly don't remember. The only thing that was rememberable is that we went from five home runs in one game to not being able to get one hit. I think they should change the baseball game that we presently know today I think they need to go from 9 innings to 7. It's too long it's too boring and most people spend the good years of their life sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and wating and waiting… It's never going to happen with the Philadelphia team. I'm beginning to think the owners tell them to stand down much like the police are told from the district attorney's offices, and I think they make more money on the losing side then they do if the Phillies were actually to win. I don't know what these guys were taking during the five home runs they hit that night but they shouldn't have stopped. Philadelphia the home of losers. 🤬

  25. Congratulations to the Philly team. They played hard just didn’t have enough. The Philly fan and business owners treating visitors from Houston the way they did was an embarrassment. You simply don’t deserve a championship in Philly.

  26. Wtf Was That , Thompson Jesus Christ u know this was a 1-0 W if u keep Wheeler in. , Extra inn at the worst

  27. It is not a successful season unless you win the WS. Every year only one team has a successful season.

  28. I’m a sad 14 year old Phillies fan this is my first time seeing them do good, even though it didn’t end well we still won the nlcs and the astros just played better there pitching and hitting was god tied our offense didn’t show up this offseason get a sp or bullpen we will be back next year HO PHILLIES
