  1. As a Jets fan, I have absolutely no concern with them drafting a Russian player, given the geopolitics. Take the best guy possible at #30. I do not hold an 18 year old Russian kid responsible for the war in Ukraine. But that's just my personal opinion. Others may feel differently. Fair enough.

  2. Hopefully don't shy away from Russian players and if some have potential take them. A 17-18yr old doesn't have control where he lives or what president does.
    Could be a kucherov,kaprizov,panarin,vasilesky,ect.

Russia is poor which is why they sign long deals and nationalism is high, even if they have other political opinion can't speak out, so they would stay plus language. But if good enough or could change life why not do it they used to cold as well 😂
Even Datsyuk was picked 6th round

  3. I have to tell you, I split my residence between Las Vegas, and New York City, I really like your show, great guests-(Loved Stormy from VSIN)-Really informative listen. Winnipeg is a really good sports town, and it always has been a great professional wrestling town. I knew two ladies who worked there, many a year ago. Keep up the great shows.

  4. Jets should (IMO) take Mateychuk or Pavel Mintynukov at #14 because defenceman don't grow on trees.
#30? There are some good picks for D and forward. The Russian Ates mentioned is fab, although has cancer. Seamus Casey is a wizard. Owen Beck @ center.

  5. If the value at 14 is close, take the D and then a forward at 30. Sure, there are lots of D prospects, but I don't think any of them are a 1st pair ceiling.

  6. The Jets will trade NYR’s pick at 30 + a 3rd rounder for Kappo Kakko. Rangers look ready to cut ties with him.

  7. At 30 your not gettin an impact player for at least 4-5 years so as far as I'm concerned its part of a trade package at the draft

  8. Jets have a lot of depth on D right now, as the guys on the Moose were pretty impressive this year. Their weakness is right wing where they essentially have only Wheeler & Appleton. Would be nice if they also looked at some local kids too.
