I just checked out the Flames post game thread and they are so damn salty. Definitely made me lose respect for their base a bit. Every other comment was « F*** the refs » or « the Devils are a bunch of divers. »
I would have been ecstatic with 4 points on this roadtrip. To get all 6 is incredible. Hopefully we fare just as well on the dreaded California road trip.

First sweep of Western Canada since 12/16/1996 – 12/20/1996, which was the only time we had ever done it.
This is a historically good Devils team.
I’ve never seen a rougher team, they killed our early power plays in such a matter-of-fact way, it was incredibly humbling.
They man handled the shit outta us.
However, we stayed the course, took their licks, and outplayed the *fuck* outta all lines. Kadri got nothing after that first score. The list of names we’ve left in the minus should be heralded for all to witness.
We’re gonna be a juggernaut by the time we face the rags.

If this team does not figure out a way to not be completely embarrassing at 5v4 hockey, it’s going to continue to be exploited. Two of their goals were scored directly after completely killing the devils’ momentum by shutting down the powerplay. Should’ve never gone to overtime in the first place.
That being said I love this team and they can do no wrong and I would run through a fucking wall for them, especially our lord and savior Nico fucking Hischier. It’s absolutely incredible what a difference adding just a couple of proven winners and a… might I say great… goalie has done for this team.
Maybe if we chant “SORRY LINDY” everyone will shut up about us booing him
Team is sick. Underlying numbers show this is legit and not a PDO bender like most unexpected teams (looking at you Buffalo)
Rebuild looking like it’s finally over and we have yet to add pieces from it to the team. Holtz, Hughes, Nemec, Casey, Daws, Brennan, Gritsyuk, Shakir, Foote, Thompson, Clarke etc.

With the way the BMW line is producing I feel even more confident that Shango and Mercer should replace Haula and Tatar.

Loved this win. I feel for the first time in forever I dont have anything to say.
Not really a fan of this game, but the shots we took were legit, so we deserved to win. Don’t like seeing us trying to avoid getting hit so much that it disrupts our momentum. But we bounced back, so hopefully it’s nothing. 6 in a row, I guess I’ll take wins any way I can get em.
