Thank you, I had bet on them to lose, and was getting anxious. The odds makers had given the Canucks the edge in that one, I actually made good money. I was curious why the Canucks were favoured to win. I will probably bet against them on everyone in the East except Montreal or the Isles. I am a huge Canucks fan, they just suck. When Horvat flubbed that shootout I was laughing having just made over a hundred bucks.

i rewatched the game. i didn't see a slip in effort. in the 3rd nashville upped their pace and canucks struggled to match bit. their passes missed their targets more often, they missed several scoring chances. there were a few poor decisions, especially the defensemen. goalie was good. don't know what will fix their fortunes?
I'm betting that they won't be bad enough to lose most or all of their upcoming games. I'm so confident enough that they won't win most or all of their upcoming games. In other words, they'll be the worst type of team…a mediocre team… like they've been for the last 8 or so years and counting….
Really, tank for Bedard or one of the other top picks, but guaranteed, they won't be doing this at all. That doesn't mean they'll make the playoffs either (and even if they did, it'll be a quick exit so why bother).

7 out of a possible 10 points in the last five is good. The problem with last nights game is they only played one period the way they should. The came out in the second with a three nothing lead and they instantly played to protect the lead, rather than keep playing the way they did the first and get in there and score some more goals. The Preds had not even scored yet and i knew the Canucks were going to lose, they stopped playing their game and went into tentative mode. They have proven beyond a doubt that when they play tentatively with the idea that they will protect their lead, it results in the other team taking over the play and winning the game most nights. They did the same thing against the Ducks but woke up in the third and started to play like they should and then they closed it out. Their structure has not improved enough to sit back on a lead, they have to try to keep scoring and get in on the fore-check to win. They can score and they need to keep doing that so the puck doesn't end up at the other end of the ice. Didn't like Hogs on the Horvat line, should have stuck with Garland, that is a good line. Should be playing Burroughs and Rathbone as well. Stick with the best performing players and stop looking at how much you are paying them. There are no easy games or "winnable" games as you say, they can beat every team in the league and can lose to every team in the league. They have to learn to play "their game" for 60 minutes instead of getting a lead and then changing the way that made them successful . The defensive structure will come with confidence from wins.
I've been on team tank since I saw a start like this again, I think the team is too definitely can tell, the words from Rutherford this team doesn't have a number 1 like a Crosby or McDavid or OV.
I think ya know Bo or most likely Boeser is gonna go but it depends probably gonna be hard to trade
him though Boeser has barely played and I don't remember the last time I Boeser score in a game 😐what teams🤷 are gonna want him he has yet to finish a full season😕 if he comes back and starts getting a lot of pts again that's the only possibility teams would actually want him.
